Flying Pie is my go to pizza place when money is no object. It is worth every nickel. I have never been disappointed! The staff is always warm and welcoming. The ambience is chill, they’ve got cool art everywhere. My personal favorite decor piece would have to be the mermaid/pirate bathroom signs!

The pizza was the bomb. Loaded! So many tasty toppings. I was surprised at the quality. Definitely exceeded my expectations. My only critique would be to have the crust a little more crispy. Then again with all those toppings, the pizza slice is bound to bend. I’d biy pizza here again without a doubt.

Just went for the first time a few days ago bc it was “Lena” day and I got a free pizza which was a decent size and thought it was super cool they have this promotion. I went with the Hawaiian one which I don’t usually get it was quite tasty. Everything is better as free but it really did hit the spot and I havnt had a lot of luck finding decent pizza in Boise. We also liked their pizza box lol. The workers were nice and the service was quick. We will definitely be back one day!

I asked for extra sauce and when I checked I was told that the sauce is sometimes “translucent” and that they put 1.5 times the normal amount of sauce on. Nevermind that I’d been getting pizzas with extra sauce for the past few months with no issue. Since the last one we ordered had almost no sauce I decided to check before I took it home. They remade the pizza which was great, but when I got home the dough was only browned on the bottom and completely raw in the middle. The original pizza was already 10 minutes later than they told me it would be ready. I already had to wait for the to remake the thing, how did they manage to not cook the second one? What was I sitting there for? I had also already tipped 20%. I’m done with Flying Pie. I had sworn them off for 10 years due to shitty quality, but tried them again for the first time this past May (2025). It was great three times, but the past 3 pizzas were not.

I am extremely disappointed at this locations customer service. I called ahead on New Year’s Eve knowing it would be a busy night on the phone they sounded very confused when I asked for sourdough crust which has been my family’s favorite for 4 years since moving here. 20 minutes after ordering my wife gets a text that the order was wrong from what we ordered. She then calls State St flying pie and told them nicely there had been a mistake the employee who answered the phone told her that she could either take the pizza made or just cancel as they were not making any further pizzas. She then told me as I was driving to pick it up as this was the last flying pie still taking orders. I get to the location and kindly asked if they could make another as I drove a long way. So I had really no choice but to take the pizza they messed up. I then asked for a manager to at least receive a discount. The employee told me there was no manager on site and only gave me $5 off. I will not be coming back to flying pie for the reason they hire people who choose to disrespect kind people. Absolutely ridiculous!

Flying Pie is a bop. My lil family LOVES every location but State street is our closest so we go here the most. It’s so casual, but SO tasty. We love the cheesy sticks and the PHOSGO pizza. This funny word they made up to describe what is on it (Pepperoni, Ham, Olive, Sausage, Green Pepper, and Onion.) is the BEST. Sometimes I crave this pizza!
The staff is always down to earth and I love drawing on the cards while we wait for our food. Their Pi Beer is also cool! It’s a beer they have specifically to go alongside their pizzas. Very fun concept and it IS very good!

Just went in there and got a free pizza for the fair thing, me and my son had a good time. the night shift workers the gentleman there were super friendly and polite they offered me a drink and some dressing the pizza was amazing super cheesy and yummy. amazing food, amazing workers and amazing service im very impressed (also sorry for the bad pic I ate half of it lol)
