All I gotta say here, is get the fish and chips! You get a generous portion of fish all fried crispy and fries, a big mound. Skip the coleslaw and get more fried instead! Price is reasonable for these days I guess. One bad thing is the place is a bit dark inside.

Went for lunch on a Thursday. I had the chicken quesadilla with guacamole, which was very good. My friend had the tasty clam chowder, and Alaskan cod fish & chips — which was moist and flaky with a crisp coating. Fantastic! Our waitress, Erica, took good care of us.

My fiancée and I went here for happy hour (5ish) while we were staying in Reno. First off the staff was incredibly attentive. We sat ourselves, and within 2 minutes someone stopped by and got our drink order. They have a fairly decent selection of beers. We ordered an appetizer, as well as a club sandwich and the burger sliders. The club sandwich was great, and the burger sliders were surprisingly amazing. I dont know what things are like later at night when I assume it is vusier busier, but while we were there the food was legitimately great for a bar and the beers came fast. Also, for a nautical themed bar in the middle of the high desert it didn’t feel too kitschy.

Came in to watch Hall of Fame Game. Not that busy in there. 3 different waitresses walked by me twice not even saying I’ll be right with you. So I left and spent $60 for dinner and drinks at Sierra Junction down the street.

Review is for Happy Hour. Large space with lots of televisions to watch sports and a pool table. Happy Hour prices are about as good as it gets these days. Half off pints and well drinks. $2 off all other drinks. Wine is discounted too. Got a Gin & Tonic for $2.25. Happy Hour Food Menu is pretty limited but decent for what you get for $7 (chicken fingers and fries, nachos, cheese quesadilla, wings and fries, tacos and chips – I’d skip the tacos pretty bare bones.) Service was really good too despite being busy. Appears the people who work here enjoy their job. The people runing this chain must be doing a smart job of it. Happy Hour food could have more choices but if this isn’t a 5 for Happy Hour I don’t know what is.

We love Flowing Tide on South Meadows…go there often. This morning our waitress was Ashley M. She was so unhappy, slow, not friendly…she seemed so miserable…which rubbed off on us. Maybe she was having a bad day or hungover. It was weird
