Yummy yum yum! Stopped by at around 5pm and it got busy after we placed our order. We got the calamari platter, a couple of crabby cake sandwiches, fish and chips and creamy chowda. Of course, we also had to try their world-famous fried clams. Wasn’t super impressed with it, but go for the calamari, instead. When you’re in Newport, please go to Flo’s!

Darn good seafood. Got a couple platters and was very happy with the lobster roll and the seafood selection. Grab a table downstairs before you head to the outdoor window to order the hot food items or grab a table upstairs where there is a cold seafood bar. It’s seat yourself, bus your table but I liked that handicap accessible on the bottom floor but tight quarters. Parking is at the back of the restaurant on Wave St. Gravel lot. Other nearby parking options would like you to sell a limb before even sitting down for a local meal.

Nice views of the ocean at Flo’s. Lobster roll and clam strips were OK, not great portion sizes for the price. Lobster meat was not particularly flavorful, and the strips had a lot of batter for the amount of clam. If in the area, I would return to try the clamcakes. The $10.95 combos also looked like a great deal

Good lobster roll. Nicely fried clam strips – really light crispy batter. Good views from the upper deck. Small parking lot, be prepared to wait in line to order.

Flos is iconic. Been comming here for over 30 years. Geat seafood across street from beach. Very informal casual place. You order food then they call you and you sit and eat. Usually a long line to order food. You can go right upstairs to bar and drink there and order from raw bar. Great spot
