1st time visiting, had heard great reviews from friends. Order a variety of food, meat omelet, double bacon cheese burger, pancakes sandwich. Food was decent. Burger was best out of all the food. Omelet needed something else…kind of bland. Pancake sandwich was also ok, more gimmick. Service failed MISERABLY!! Waitress was very nice, but got nothing right on the order. She never told us her name, so guess that was a good idea since im doing this review. Asked for crispy hashbrown, the were under cooked. Asked for all toppings for Burger, they didn’t come. So syrup for Pancake dish. And finally we we got all our food, no utensils to eat with. But yes, we still paid, didnt ask for anything to be removed, and gave still gave 20% tip. So please take this review as a legitimate critique.

As soon as I walk into this restaurant, the decorations was absolutely captivating and I feel as if I knew everyone for a long time I have family comfort feeling. The server was amazing. She treated me as if we’ve been friends for a long time. Great smile, soft welcome voice. As I waited for a short time until I receive my food. I’ve seen several people talking as if they visit their place regularly and as if everyone knows each other.. the place is very diverse and it seemed like everyone is family even though everyone is a different color. I enjoy stuff like that!
I ordered one of Adam’s cheeseburgers because I’ve heard it’s one of the best in St. Louis! Let me tell you! The crisp, grill burger with the cheese and onions was absolutely spectacular! And their crispy fries is some of the best prices that I have in a long time.
I don’t usually comment much on drinks because I don’t drink my calories ;I eat them. And let me tell you, the food here is absolutely amazing.
The burgers are a 10/10, and the omelet and gravy truly taste like the South. When something tastes like the South, you know it’s delicious.
I also love meeting restaurant owners to get a feel for their attitude and passion. The owner, Adam, is incredibly kind, sweet, soft-spoken, and humble. The way he presented the food perfectly matched his personality and it shows in every bite.
As someone with many food allergies, I’m very careful about what I eat, and I truly appreciated how comfortable and confident I felt ordering here.
Overall, this place is a 10/10 across the board:

Prices: very affordable
Honestly, based on how good the food tastes, I’m surprised it isn’t more expensive. We’re lucky to have a place like this. Bring your family, friends, or loved ones,you won’t be disappointed. The Florissant City Diner has been a first choice for myself, my family, and multiple friends for well over ten years, especially after a long fun Saturday night when you need a good, hearty, filling breakfast. The gravy skillet is always top notch as well as any of their omelets. and usually is more food than I can eat. I also eat lunch there a few times a month as it is SO close to my work.
And their burgers are always phenomenal. (Their fried egg burger is my go-to choice) I can truthfully say for as long as I can remember, I have never had a bad experience there with the service or the food. Definitely, a must try if you’ve never checked it out!

My family and I eat here frequently and it’s is always and consistently the absolute best. Best Cheeseburgers anywhere and pancakes so good you’ll dream about them! The servers and other workers are always so nice and willing to go the extra mile to be sure you’re satisfied. The prices are fantastic too, and you won’t go away hungry here! Excellent, excellent, excellent! Five stars plus for sure!

Great food and service. The slider is one of my favorites. Pancakes for my wife. The whole staff are very efficient and friendly. Very accommodating to those using a wheelchair. Additional handicap parking would be helpful but, we work through it. Our visits are always worth it.

My family has been eating at the diner for over 20 years and it is Always our first choice breakfast spot in Florissant. Max and his family are some of the most kind hearted and interesting people I’ve ever spoken to, and I have never found another restaurant that could make scrambled eggs like Max makes them. We love the diner!!! Affordable, quality hand made food, and always fun talking with the staff.

Food is SO GOOD! I love their pancakes and I think it’s called Grandmas Breakfast. I’ve never had their burgers but I’ve heard they are very good! I can tell you that they look amazing! Keep in mind that this place is very small. And they are very busy – always!! The reason??? Because the food is so good! Locals do not mind waiting in line for a seat. Also, because they are always busy – doesn’t mean they are rude. Their waitresses work their tails off and are always so nice. Great local place! It’s very popular with the locals!! .

Like stepping back in time. Great family atmosphere and FANTASTIC food– they set the standard for smashburgers everywhere! The omelets RULE and diner style hash browns are the ultimate comfort food–LOL but so are super fluffy pancakes…which to choose? How much comfort is enough????. We ordered through doordash and definitely got our money back.. everything that we ordered was lacking in flavor. The French toast didn’t have any flavor no cinnamon or anything just bread and eggs. My child’s grilled cheese sandwich was basically toast with cheese in between it.. the eggs were dry and my cheese was just tossed on top of it and barely melted… my fiance got a vegetable Skillet that was really good though the feta cheese saved it.
