Beautiful restauant, would recommend for lunch as it daytime vibes were great and it feels more whimsical. There was incredibely talented live music. We started with the ricotta toast, which was good just lacking the advertised habanero honey. We got two pizzas, which are a bit expensive but delicious. The brocolli chicken sausage was heavy but full of flavor – loaded with fontina cheese and the chicken sausage was so flavorful. The sorpresetta pizza was equally delicious, so thin and delicate and had more of the habanero honey which was delicious. Did take a while to get the puzzas.
The property is lovely to walk around, and they have a little gift shop. The brunch menu didnt amaze us – we would have liked to see more local influence, and some more innovation regarding the drinks.
Went for a dual birthday celebration and it was fun romantic beautiful food was impeccable, service incredible, drinks amazing, band was awesome
There’s not 1 thing I can say bad.
A slight disappointment was thinking it was locally owned but its people from Napa or Sonoma that own it. . And I was trying to escape home LOL
None the less ill be back breakfast lunch and dinner every time im in town.
Only bad thing is roads going up there considering the popularity id hope someone get to paving it.
Anyhow its been a couple weeks and im craving going back. I cant stop thinking about it.
The food was incredible—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with seasonal, local ingredients. We had the wood-fired pizza, handmade pasta, and a few small plates to share, and everything was spot on. The cocktails were creative and refreshing, with herbs picked straight from the garden.
One of the highlights of the night was the live music—a small band playing soulful, acoustic covers that added to the romantic vibe without being too loud. It made the whole evening feel even more special.
The staff were warm and attentive, and even brought out a surprise dessert for her birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch. If you’re looking for a place in Cabo that’s beautiful, laid-back, and full of heart, Flora’s is it.
Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the ambiance.
The menu was extremely limited and incredibly overpriced. There were no kids’ options at all, which was surprising given that they have such a great activity area clearly geared toward families. We ended up ordering a $40 USD pizza for our 6-year-old — which feels absurd. I make pizza at home on our Ooni that’s just as good, if not better, for a fraction of the cost. It’s hard to justify those prices, especially without a smaller or kid-friendly option available.
The least expensive glass of wine was $32 USD, which felt excessive. We also happened to visit during a seasonal menu rotation that heavily featured tomatoes, capers, and pork — three ingredients my wife (whose birthday we were celebrating) doesn’t care for. Unfortunately, they don’t publish their menu in advance, so we didn’t know this until we arrived.
To their credit, our server recognized we weren’t thrilled and brought over a manager who was very kind and professional. He offered to buy my wife a glass of wine and send over ice cream for our son. However, our son has a nut allergy, and we were told that every flavor made onsite could be cross-contaminated with nuts — so he wasn’t able to enjoy that gesture either.
It’s disappointing because this is a place that appears to cater to families, yet it feels both difficult and very expensive to bring children here. The setting and atmosphere are beautiful, but for us, the value and overall experience just didn’t match the price point.
