The dessert is when it went downhill. Told bartender that I would like the brownie sundae, he said that is very healthy (choice) , he brought the check bill to me for me to add tip and sign it. I did that and waited at least 15 minutes for the Brownie Sundae. I asked the lady server for some brownie sundae, she brought me another check to sign, tip etc. I told her that I already purchased the brownie and showed her my signed bill that has brownie sundae listed on the bill. She told another server, another server came and looked at my bill. Told him the same. Minutes later, the bartender brought the brownie sundae to me in a brown paper bag since I requested for the Brownie Sundae to go. Took the brownie to my room. Did not look the best and tasted okay. I was surprised that they added sprinkles to the brownie. I don’t ever have sprinkles added to my ice cream and I never saw anyone else ever add sprinkles to a brownie sundae before.
I thought I would be able to eat quick and return to my family in our room. Placed order at the bar with bartender, he told me it would be ready in 15 minutes, I returned to my room, came back downstairs in 15 minutes, waited for at least 5 to 10 minutes, ate the entree and then waited a long time for the Brownie Sundae. I stayed downstairs at the table for 1 hour all because I had to wait so much time for my meal. That’s ridiculous.
The service was good and the food was pretty good too. Not a huge spread but perfectly does the job. Buffet is otherwise $22 per person if not included.
Restaurant opens at 6:30 which I feel is a tad late for an airport hotel, it should open no later than 6am or earlier if possible. Many get up really early for flights.
Food. Soup came luke warm. I’m not sure if it was if it is old or what, but the flavor was bad and it has given me a terrible upset stomach. The ice cream is old and needs throwing away. Filled with ice crystals. Not up to any standards. Should be thrown away. Pricing is crazy high, but I suppose it is the general area. That will teach me to just walk in and eat and not checking the ratings first.
