My fiancee absolutely loved this restaurant and I couldn’t have picked a finer dining experience for Valentine’s Day with her! Beautiful piano music from Steve, exceptional service and truly a celebration. 5 courses from a talented and gifted chef a precise eye for details – tart, sweet, and smooth and crunchy all in one bite leaving your tastebuds and your spirit towards heaven. If you want your sweetheart to have a memorable experience take her here.

An intimate dining experience with delicious food and an extensive wine list. I came with a large party (< 6 people), ordered the seasonal salad and the Halibut, and it was cooked to perfection. All of the entrees came out similarly timed to one another. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

This charming bistro in Gresham has exceeded my expectations. I never anticipated discovering such a sophisticated dining establishment in East County. The cocktail was delicious, and both the Beef Wellington and Lobster Bouillabaisse were superb.

The rare gem in Portland of excellent French cuisine, live music, classic ambiance and cozy elegance with a twist of French attitude, treat you and your friends to a Parisian escape at Bacari in quaint old town Gresham. Worth the jaunt from Portland. Love this place.

This is our preferred date night destination because the food and drinks are absolutely worth the splurge. It’s not often you find cloth napkin dining in Gresham, and the food is every bit as good as some of the nicer restaurants in Portland. We’ve always had great experiences with the staff as well. The chef knows her business, and the specials change based on what’s fresh and local. We’ve been going here for years and have been to some of the special events, including the lobster dinner and New Year’s Eve, which usually feature excellent live music. The ambiance is always intimate and quiet, with the focus on the food.

Have to be completely honest, this place was not as great as I had hoped for and expected. First off they only have a few seating times for reservations. which to me made it worse as everyone arrived at the same time and the server was very slow due to having to attend to everyone at the same time. I think they would be better off having staggered seating times or another server. The place itself was very cute, it had a cozy and classy feel at the same time. Our server was friendly and she told us all the specials she had which was A LOT to take in, I really think they should have them printed out as it was hard to remember everything she said. The menu is rotating so I understand but printing new ones everyday shouldn’t be to big of a hassle especially considering the prices. Although I understand this is an upscale place I did feel like some of the prices were a little out of hand. Mainly for the appetizers. We ordered the prawns pernod, it came with five prawns for the steep price of $28. They were good but nothing amazing. For entrée ordered the Lobster Boullabaisse. The presentation was nice and there was a good amount of seafood, this dish was priced much more accordingly. My husband ordered the special which was a 12oz fillet. His dish also looked very nice but it did not come with any side item, no veggies or potato or anything. He was a little disappointed to see that. My mom and her husband got the salad special, and the Pork chop. They seemed very happy with their meals and had no complaints. The service during the whole time was very slow and we had empty drinks many times. This was due to short staff and everyone coming at once in my opinion. Cant say I would be interested in coming back. I feel there is other dinner houses much nicer and with more options.

I went with a group of six friends. It was very cozy, the waitress and Chef interacted with us in a very polite way. We all intend to go back. The appetizers were delicious and the spaghetti dishes were very tasty.

The absolute Best restaurant in all of Gresham. In a very cute location, a “hidden gem” as our server called it! Excellent service, excellent food! Menu changes with the season! Can’t wait to go back!

I’ve been following Bacari on social media for YEARS, and tonight my husband surprised me with a reservation for our anniversary!

Lisa, the owner, came and introduced herself and took our dinner order. I felt like I was meeting a celebrity chef! And I may well have been, the dishes were THAT good!

If you’re in the area, and even if you’re not, make a trip to Bacari (and then several more!).
