Ace “Ace” The Great
Late post from July ‘25: Stopped in for a birthday dinner and it was pretty good. I recall there were a few things that weren’t liked, but overall things came out as ordered. Everyone loved their steaks as several different cuts were ordered. Crab cakes were a huge disappointment. The a la carte sides were “so so”.

My husband and I went there for our 10th anniversary and we had a wonderful experience. Our waiter, Chris, was very knowledgeable, was patient with all our questions and made excellent recommendations. He is also a wine sommelier and told us about his travels and we learned a few things about wine. Our Steaks were cooked perfectly. We highly recommend Fleming’s and will definitely be back.

Flemming’s in Charlotte is in my top five places to get a quality steak. I went here once before a couple years ago with my girlfriend and was blown away with how good everything was. Last year in Asheville we were hit with a hurricane on my birthday so I wasn’t able to celebrate but this year I figured we’d go all out and my first thought was let’s hit up Flemming’s! We made a reservation and arrived a few early and our table was ready and even decorated and a birthday card was on the table. We were seated and meet the manager I believe his name was Tom and he was the best and very hospitable and made a point to check up on us. We had Rose as our server who was amazing and didn’t even have to write down our order and got it perfect. We had the prime NY strip and 11 oz filet, grilled asparagus, chipotle Mac and cheese and the famous Flemming’s potatoes and we’re blown away with the FLAVOR! (Ruth Chris needs to take a lesson about seasoning and take detailed notes from this place) Everything was top notch and we had the gooey brownie to end it. 100% recommend and will return next time I’m in town.

We were there for our wedding anniversary. Upon arrival there was an ‘Happy Anniversary’ table set for us! Alyssa was a great wait staff. Communicative and sensitive to what we wanted. Tomahawk was cooked to perfection medium rare. The brussels were mildly seasoned. The only reason a star is down is due to the some of the ends of the asparagus were woody & chewy. We could easily choose to go to Flemings again! Parking–the restaurant validates your valet ticket reducing it from $40 to $17. Not bad for Downtown Charlotte.

As part of our wedding anniversary weekend celebration, my wife and I had dinner at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, and it was an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and acknowledged our special occasion in a way that felt genuine and thoughtful.
The atmosphere was warm and elegant. ideal for celebrating. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, juicy and full of flavor, and the sides were just as impressive. We especially enjoyed the signature potatoes and perfectly prepared vegetables. Dessert was a sweet ending to a memorable evening.
The service truly stood out. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure that every detail of our dinner was perfect. The extra touches for our anniversary celebration made us feel celebrated and appreciated.
Fleming’s was the perfect choice for capping off our anniversary weekend. Exceptional food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere, we couldn’t have asked for more

11/10/2025, came here with some friends to celebrate the Marine Corps Birthday!
I ordered a ceasar salad to start and for my entrée I ordered the 8 oz filet and a lobster tail. Bread was served and it wasn’t anything special. Where’s the good bread at?? Sorry my photo of the cesar salad was taken after a few bites.
The ceasar salad was tasty! The lobster tail was big, cooked perfectly and tasted like lobster is supposed to taste.
The 8 oz filet was tender and tasty!
Our server was great. It wasn’t busy so service was great. This was my first time to Flemings. I ordered the cheesecake for dessert. It was cheesecake nothing special about it.
The food was good but there wasn’t anything over the top special about Flemings. I want a place the makes me want to come back over and over again!
This was an average steakhouse in my opinion.
The filet and lobster tail $96, presentation was a tad boring, the ceasar salad was $18 (small portion for that price point), the cheesecake was average size, $15, should be $12 wasn’t homemade tasting, it was good but nothing special about it.
I would eat at Flemings again and would recommend it to others.

The service was great and the food was delicious. All entrees was served timely. The atmosphere was pleasant. Specifically, the ribeye was like butter and very flavorful. Great location as well.

I came here from Georgia for my birthday. Alyssa was amazing. I wish I could give this place higher than 5 stars. Robert the manager came over and checked on everyone. That made me feel welcome and at home. If you know anything about Georgia, we are known for our Southern hospitality. I must say the hospitality here is amazing. The food was absolutely delicious. The slow cooked rib on the Chef’s selection was so tender with the perfect amount of sauce and amount of mash potatoes. Thank you again to all who made this a wonderful Bday experience!

Came for lunch, had the petite filet and parmesian truffle fries. The fries were good except they lacked truffle flavor, the steak was super tender but a little under for medium rare, it also lacked seasoning (salt). It looked exactly like my mom’s rare filet. For the price, you would expect some sort of sauce, not just some chopped parsley. Service was fantastic.
