When it comes to burgers, Five Guys offers an impressive variety of toppings, but I found it to be a bit overwhelming. There were so many flavors competing that I struggled to really taste the meat itself, which was disappointing. It felt like the toppings overshadowed the quality of the burger itself.
On a more positive note, the fries were quite good! I appreciated the option of malt vinegar, which you don’t often find at burger joints. It added a nice touch to the experience. However, I was taken aback by the price—two burgers and fries set me back $30, which I don’t think is quite worth it for the overall experience.
While I enjoyed some aspects of my visit, particularly the fries and the variety of toppings, I don’t think I’ll rush back anytime soon. Five Guys certainly has its fans, but it just didn’t quite hit the mark for me.
This isn’t the first time I’ve noticed this when this same employee is working the fry station. It felt rushed and careless, especially given the price. One of the main reasons people order fries here is because of the portion size, and that standard wasn’t met at all.
I hope management looks into this, as consistency and attention to detail really matter to customers.

Easy recommendation if you’re in the Mission Viejo area.
If you love In-N-Out skip going to Five Guys it is a major disappointment. Yes they have similar style, but one is immaculate with very helpful people, skip these Guys.
Nothing too special, I don’t know why I was hoping for more. Overall, average and overpriced. Fries should be like $4 for regular size and that’s being generous. I would rather have In-n-Out for $2.50 with “light well” crispy fries any day.
