I’ve had burgers at five guys on nicholasville rd. and other cities. Stopped at the helmsdale location last night after telling my roommate how great five guys burgers were. After trying to order from an employee who only mumbled, we received two very expensive, dried, tasteless hockey pucks on buns (her bun actually had hard spots). My roommate compared them to burgers at McD’s and I have to agree. We laughed at the signage all around touting fresh, juicy burgers… seems like restaurants don’t care about quality and consistency in their food anymore…At least the peanuts were good.

Best burgers in the biz. Visited many Five Guys out of town during roadtrips and never disappointed. Nicholasville Road is a good example. Always fresh and delicious. Better than a home grilled smashburger.

Hands down one of the best burger joints I have been to. Phil the operations manager is a great guy and manager who has taught his assistant managers and crew integrity and very high standards. This in turn reflects on the quality of the food they serve. I highly recommend this place.

Went to the Nicholasville rd. location. I love how much veg they put on the burger! I’m so annoyed when there’s too much meat to veg ratio. Finally a burger joint that loads on all the veg. It’s no different with bacon and other toppings. These burgers are seriously amazing. It’s the truest American classic taste ever. If my German friends came over to visit and want a, what they call, ‘real American hamburger,’ I would take them here to showcase just that. They source their potatoes from farms close, regionally, and handcut them.

Great food, great service, great beverage selection. I’m diabetic so it’s hard at a lot of resturaunts to have zero sugar drinks. This resturaunt has over 20 selections of zero sugar beverages. Kudos to them for this. Would recommend.
