Although I had my heart set on an açaí bowl, since they don’t offer those I opted for a smoothie. The cashier was very helpful and offered suggestions on how I could create a low carb option. I ended up ordering a ‘recovery’ smoothie, subbing blueberries for dark cherries and half a banana instead of a whole. It had a good taste and hit the spot.

Walked in, looked at the meals, didn’t see anyone at first. Then saw girl sitting down behind the register with her phone. She stood up and did the transaction. I asked if I could eat it there. She said yes and pointed out where the microwaves were. She went back to her phone conversation. I ate, looked around. I decided to get a smoothie and walked up to the counter. The girl just sat there still on the phone. I had to ask her for the smoothie. She took the phone with her to make the smoothie and continued talking on it. Then she put the smoothie on the counter and said “here”. She went back to her phone conversation. I tasted the smoothie and walked back to the counter. She seemed surprised that I came back, but did not put the phone down to address me. I was going to ask some more questions, but didn’t feel confident that I would get good answers from her since she didn’t even inquire why I was there. That must have been an important phone call. I left and am writing this review in my car for others to see my experience.
