A friend recommended this place to me. When the food was delivered through a delivery service the experience was worth it! The portion was right. The taste was good. The price was decent.

After that experience. I ordered several times from there. The location doesn’t have parking like that. The place doesn’t have ample seating like that. I only saw two booths. The service is good; although is depends on the time of day in my opinion. The ladies work there are pleasant and soothing to the eyes.

So I just ordered a jerk chicken with vegetables. The jerk chicken was saggy not it didn’t have flavor and the jerk sauce sucked. It was not good. I live in Mount Vernon and I buy jerk chicken all the time from different establishments. I don’t know what’s going on with this place but the jerk chicken was absolutely horrible and the cabbage was oily and it didn’t have any flavor either.

This is a no thrills straight to business Jamaican restaurant. The food is A+. Say what you want i love restaurants that use rice cookers for their rice. The rice is perfect not too soft and not hard, and using rice cooker is more consistent. I bought oxtail rice and pea, and bought curry goat steam veggie rice and pea. Portions great for the price. The meat were tender juicy cuts of meat. I bought a medium plate and I’m stuffed. I can’t imagine ordering a large. The service behind the counter was sweet. Two nice Jamaican woman served me. NO BEEF PATTIES SOLD HERE. Atmosphere was wack due to no Jamaican music playing, and lights were dim.

I ask for oxtails with no gravy on my rice and peas. The rice and peas came with a lot of gravy.
I order 2 chicken thighs I was sent legs.
I was charged an extra .50 cents for the thigh
That I didn’t get.
I was very disappointed after spending 35.38 + Tip for a meal that had gravy .
I don’t like gravy

I always order to deliver, the food is very delicious.
My only issue is with delivery. I usually order curries and there isn’t one time I got my food without the gravy spilling through the paper bag and into the plastic shopping bag.
Management needs to look into this and if possible start putting these curries in sealed containers to avoid the mess so we can have more gravy to go with the rice.

I made an online order yesterday of oxtails, white rice and chicken soup. Everything tasted like it was sitting there for a while. The oxtail was extremely overcooked and tough. The white rice was hard and the soup had no flavor. never again.

I ordered Fish N’ Ting on Grub Hub for the first time, I ordered: Chicken Rasta Pasta, Whiting w/peas n’ rice, and Dumplings. I have to say that I was very pleased with the delivery time, the food arrived hot, the portion size was plentiful, but most of all the food was so delicious. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant. If you haven’t tried them yet, you should do so….you will not be disappointed…

I’m a huge fan of Fish N’ Ting! The food is always on point. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal here. I typically order in advance and pick up. If you’re getting the Rasta Pasta or Steamed Fish they tell you it usually takes 15-20 minutes (it’s really more like 30+ minutes).

The front is very unassuming and you could miss it between the auto-shops. When you go inside there is a small bar on the right and straightforward is where you can order food to go or get a table to dine in. There is also seating in the back that’s outside (it’s covered) with a bar area as well.

On this occasion, I dined inside and our group ordered the callaloo spring rolls, sweet and sour chicken, shrimp rasta pasta and seafood pasta. We also had two drinks. The food is always good but the rasta pasta is supposed to be spicy but this time around it wasn’t. The callaloo spring rolls were really good and spicy. The food was also lukewarm which was a disappointment. The drinks were very sweet which is expected for what we got but it tasted like we were drinking syrup and not a mixed drink with alcohol.

Now for the service. The service here is always so spotty. I feel like it depends on the day and the person who ends up serving you. For this visit, the person who served us just wasn’t friendly at all. She never introduced herself and it seemed the entire time she was avoiding us. We actually received great service from another waitress who was serving other tables.

Recommendations: Goat soup, chicken soup, red snapper (steamed) and rasta pasta’s.

I’ll still visit because the food is good but I would more than likely not visit for dine-in service again.

The food was good, the prices are steep and their service is slow. I had their shrimp Rasta pasta for $21, it was a large portion of pasta and the sauce was good but not spicy and a little too watery for my liking. I was really impressed with how warm I was sitting in their outdoor seating area.

their prices for alcohol beverages was the same as going to a club in Manhattan. Also they have a bar area indoors and outdoors. The bar outside uses a blender that is excruciatingly loud.

It was V-day weekend and they were playing slow jams/R&B, it was a pretty decent playlist.

I ran across this place while passing by. I saw a line of cars out front so I knew they must have delicious food.

There’s no dine-in experience currently, only take-out. Masks are required for all to-go orders.

The staff were proactive, positive and informative. They wrapped our food perfectly to prevent leaking in bags.

When I arrive home to eat, my food was amazing! It was flavorful, fresh and cooked to perfection.

When in the Bronx area GO HERE!
