First Watch is an award-winning breakfast, brunch and lunch spot, serving a chef-driven menu of elevated classics and seasonal specialties, always made to order using the freshest ingredients. We greet the sunrise by slicing and juicing fresh fruits and vegetables, whipping French toast batter from scratch and brewing pots of our single-origin Project Sunrise coffee. Freshness is never comprised, which is why we welcome each season into our menu with ingredients and flavors inspired by the position of the sun. All year long, you can enjoy craveable favorites like Avocado Toast for breakfast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict for brunch and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes for lunch. Whether you start at the crack of dawn or not, we’ll leave that up to you!

First Watch in Shreveport absolutely delivered a top-tier breakfast experience. From the moment I walked in, the restaurant had a clean, bright, and welcoming atmosphere that immediately set the tone. The staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient without feeling rushed, which is exactly what you want for a breakfast spot.
I ordered the egg omelet, and it was outstanding. The eggs were light, fluffy, and cooked perfectly—not overdone or rubbery. The fillings were fresh, evenly distributed, and clearly high quality, with great flavor in every bite. Nothing tasted greasy or heavy; everything felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. You can tell they take pride in how their food is made.
Portion sizes were just right—filling without being overwhelming—and the presentation was clean and appetizing. My food came out quickly, but not so fast that it felt rushed or pre-made.
Overall, this was an excellent breakfast experience with great food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere. First Watch in Shreveport easily earns a 5-star rating and is a place I would confidently recommend to anyone looking for a high-quality breakfast or brunch. I will definitely be coming back.

Love the new menu. The food is absolutely delicious. The blueberry cornbread is delicious. The steak hash and breakfast tacos with barbacoa is a must try.

I’ve been here three times. They do not know what a poached egg is. The first time both items I wanted to order (and the reason I went) they were out of. I ordered an eggs Benedict (which by nature comes with a poached egg) and it came back with the yolk hard boiled. It took awhile to get my order to begin with and I had to send it back for a poached egg. The million dollar potatoes were great though! The second time I went the power went out and we had to leave, but our server was nice and they comped our appetizer. The third time I went I ordered eggs Benedict again and it came back hard boiled yolks. The server said they were still poached because the white was soft and poached is the method and I needed to ask for them soft poached. I was in a rush and I didn’t have time to send it back. But I will not be returning. I’ve also had it catered for work and it was alright, the chia pudding was very good.

Everything made to order very fast service/ we started at a two seater but were able to switch to a booth which was nice/ had the breakfast tacos with side black beans my wife share her grits which went well with the black beans/ everything was hot and delicious!

First time visitor here and I’ll just say it was pleasant. Our server was great, very attentive and really sweet. The food was ok. My family as a whole ordered the shrimp and grits, french toast, pancakes and we all got bacon and eggs added. The best things on the table were the eggs(they were delightful) and pancake! My french toast was just ok, the grits could have used something. Im not sure what, but they lacked!!! The bacon was not good to me and I forgot to mention the drink…it just didn’t taste like much. Aside from all of that, I enjoyed my time there with my family. Like I mentioned before the space was good and our server was great!

True 5 star rating all around. My favorite breakfast dish is the chikichanga. Always seating available, quick and friendly service, and everything on the menu is fantastic. Definitely try the million dollar potatoes.

I ordered my food via door dash and although it came fast and hot, part of my order was missing. The bag was stapled and the Trifecta I ordered wasn’t placed in the bag. Initially I called the Dasher and he was willing to go back to get it. I told him I would call First Watch to let them know. I called and the first thing comes from her mouth is “I need to call door dash.” No ma’am the bag was sealed my food wasn’t placed in it at all. Im not willing to report it and make it seem as if he took it because he didn’t. She got the manager on the phone and she made it right. I’m a little irritated about it but thankful she got my order made and didn’t just tell me to call Door Dash or make me feel like I wanted free food . Now the food I did receive was good, the grits seasoned potates all good. I just wish I had it all together. Kinda messed up my experience ♀️

I really enjoyed my last trip to First Watch. The staff was friendly and my waitress, Genavee, was very polite and helpful when choosing my entrée. She made it feel like I’ve been there hundreds of times. I will definitely be returning and sitting in her section again. The food was great and the service amazing.

I had an excellent experience at First Watch, and much of it was thanks to the attention of Alanea. From the very first moment, he greeted us with a genuine smile, a lot of kindness and a very professional attitude. He was attentive at all times, patient in explaining the menu and always waiting for us not to lack anything.
Her service made the visit even more enjoyable; it shows when someone enjoys what they do and cares about providing a quality experience. The food was delicious and well presented, but without a doubt the attention of Alanea made a difference and made us feel welcome and comfortable.
