Very nice place. The food is very tasty, especially for the price. Good value. My waitress Danika is a pro! She kept everything moving even though she has a lot of tables. Never needed to ask for anything as she was on top of it all. I came on a Wednesday when they have music trivia. If you like that, it’s great. I do not so it was too loud for my taste. They communicate this on their website so I was forewarned. Still wanted to try the place and was glad that I did.
Just reviewed some of the recent postings. While it has a local vibe, they treated me very well and I am out of state and they knew that. I am not discounting anyone else’s experience, but I do not think being out of town was a factor. I will be back.

Seems like a “locals” spot. Staff was very friendly, but we walked in and had no idea what to do until a couple minutes of standing and someone came by and told us to go wherever we wanted. As someone who doesn’t like standing awkwardly for a bit, that was stressful (and we were a decent-sized group).
Again, service was great but very slow. If you have a time constraint, maybe save this spot for a later time!
My meal was very well-portioned, and the chicken had incredible flavor!
I wouldn’t necessarily go again, but the atmosphere is very laid back for a drink and such.

Update 9/25/23- tried to eat here again. Walked in at 5:10p. Employee asked if I was with a group and I said no, I just needed a table for one. Two more groups of people who came in after me were sat down. No acknowledgment that I was waiting, so I left. I guess this is more of a locals place? Not sure but I won’t bother going back.
Tasty food and good experience all around. Service was fast. Food was fresh and had tons of flavor. It’s exactly what you want American comfort food to be. Be warned, portions are huge!

I ordered the special (fried clams). Waited over a half hour for food. The clams were HORRIBLE. There were no more than 10 on my plate and they were tough and still frozen. When I expressed my concerns, I was offered dessert. (Photo shown was the ENTIRE MEAL)

So glad I stopped here. This place is just awesome! The local vibe and energy of everyone is just amazing. The entertainment of the DJ and the crowd is so fun. What a treasure. Kevin was vey inviting I made everyone feel like they belonged here.

Not at all good. Not sure who is writing these reviews, but obviously no one who can taste! It was a takeout order. I live 8 minutes away. I was told 40 minutes and then had to wait another 10 minutes when I got there. Screwed up my order and gave me tips/scallops combo, when i ordered just the scallops, but charged me the “Market price” of the scallops alone. Steak tips were chewy with no flavor, just char. The scallops were mushy and tasteless. the french fries were cold and floppy and the appetizer of Philly spring rolls were not even 4″ long and were filled with maybe 1/4 teaspoon of a grayish “Meat”. And all, after 50 minutes of waiting, cold. All this trash for a whopping $70! Never again. Mcdonald’s is Gourmet compared to this.

I enjoy the atmosphere of Fireside and the added patio is a plus as part of their renovation in the last year or so. Which between the last styling is a nice improvement. Tuesday nights are enjoyable due to the live Irish band that you may not typically get during a weekday.
As for drinks, they have a delicious homemade Orange and Root beer soda! Most of their beer selection is standard, but there is a full bar. Most food items were good, not amazing, but enough to be satisfied. Been here several times and no mistakes have been made on food orders.
