I’m reading that the staff at this location are vial, disrespectful, rude, & unprofessional. This statement is a fact. They will talk trash about their customers in Spanish & do not realize that they are heard. The shift manager can’t manage them because they’re talking in Spanish and they’re clearly not being held responsible for their actions there. This is causing them to get increasingly worse with their service & quality. I would advise against going to this location. It’s bad when you can’t trust the food you’re eating because the workers are acting so Shady.

This Firehouse subs has been my go-to since it opened but for the past maybe 2 years, it’s just not worth it. I ordered two large combos which came to almost $27 and when paying with a $50 bill there seem to be concern as to whether or not they could place my order because the bill was too large for them to produce change which made absolutely no sense. Then when I was annoyed and asked what’s the problem because I didn’t think they were going to allow me to place my order, they then proceeded to talk trash about me after the fact while I waited, in English; the young Hispanic woman at the cash register and the older Hispanic woman who seemed to be the manager. “Get over it” “were making her food aren’t we” “and who cares about her” – then my food was slammed on the counter, older woman said my name, rolled her eyes at me and walked away. From here on out I’ll drive another 20 minutes and go to Keagy Road Location. I’m really disappointed I just don’t understand anything going on at this location anymore. Last time I was snapped on for interrupting a meeting to get a cup that was not included in my order. I wasnt angry, I didn’t catch an attitude. But whatever.

There is no option for a combo with a combo price on the fire house app. There’s also no way to order a fountain drink whatsoever they the app. You have an amazing soda machine but no capability to order those sodas through the app or at least order them, be supplied a cup to fill yourself. Staff has no training on the fire house app so when you ask them questions they give you incorrect answers and then when you tell them that that’s not right, they say “well we don’t know” which is frustrating.

This Firehouse location has always been my favorite take out. It was always consistent and delicious. Unfortunately it seems they got a whole new staff and ever since then my Italian has always been mediocre and about half the meat it used to have. Before you had to open wide to bite their sandwich and it was so juicy it would run all over your hands. I kept going back hoping the sandwich would go back to how it was because theres nothing like them when made right. I never wanted to complain because this manager has a very negative and loud presence to her and I worried she would make me uncomfortable. When I used to eat in the restaurant she was always yelling in Spanish at her staff and would confront guests in a loud voice and embarrassed someone for wanting a refund for a cookie they didn’t have. I started getting take out instead. Last night i finally decided to complain about the lack of meat to a staff member on the phone. She was offering to remake it when the manager started yelling at her in the background about what was wrong. She spoke Spanish to her manager from that point on while I was on the phone with her and the manager was yelling in the background how she made it and weighed it and it’s fine! The manger then took over the phone yelling at me that she made it and weighed it and nothing was wrong. I asked her why she was yelling at me and told her I disagreed and even have a picture if she doesn’t believe me. Her response was to then yell at me again that she made it and weighed it. I decided not to answer back to this. She then yelled well what do you want! I said at this point a refund because I won’t be coming back. She yelled fine and hung up on me. I hope this manager can turn her attitude and voice down to her staff and future clients. It’s become a hostile environment and makes the guests feel unwanted and like we’re inconveniencing them by ordering food 🙁

I was having a horrible day and stopped into eat, when I was greeted at the counter by an employee named Jackie. Her smile, kindness, and excellent customer service instantly brightened my day. My order was hot and delicious. Firehouse Subs, you should feel blessed that you have an employee like Jackie working with you!

I stopped in for lunch today, and with nobody else in line I was able to order right away. According to my receipt, I placed my order at 1:26, well after the typical lunch rush. 20 minutes later, one of the cooks looked at me puzzled and asked me what I ordered. I told him, then the girl who took my order asked him what the holdup was. He told her that he gave my sub to someone else and would have to make another one. I finally got my order about 30 minutes after ordering. Unless you have a lot of time to kill, you should probably get your lunch somewhere else.
