Paid 30 bucks for three subs that were ordered hot, but served cold. All three had minuscule amounts of meat and toppings, and were flavorless as well. Took them well beyond the estimated time to make my order. Customer service is nonexistent. To the workers, if you hate your job that much, quit and stop serving lousy product to customers. Do better. For the owner, treat your employees right and train them correctly and you won’t get subpar reviews like this.

First, I am not one to leave negative reviews. Since I discovered Firehouse Subs I have always enjoyed their product and put it close to the top of my list when it came to sub shops. Going back to school, it makes the Newark location quite convenient. This year, I have gone to this location 4 times and twice paid for my food and had to leave before it was even done (both times allowing for 30 minutes). On this trip I was nearing the time I had to leave to make it to class on time and I asked the young man making the sandwiches if he could put half of it in a box he said “I’m not making that” and did nothing while at least 4 other employees looked at me and said nothing. I understand that door-dash has placed a burden on this location, but After spending over $160 here since the beginning of this year, I only had 1 positive experience with my own food. To me it feels like I paid $160 for an Italian sub. If it weren’t for the other people I fed getting to enjoy their food on both occasions when I had to leave and the one I left with the wrong sandwich, I would have contacted my credit card company and reversed the charges. It would take a miracle for me to make firehouse subs my dining destination by any choice of my own ever again. Out of all of my reviews on google, this is the only negative one here.

So I attempted to call at 8:45 to place a order. They let it ring several times the 3rd time. I called someone answered they did let me know they don’t take phone orders after 830 So I drove over is 851 and the doors are locked. If they are not going to stay open till 9 maybe they Should not have. That As there posted time on Google.

Was throughly annoyed when I stopped in yesterday to order myself a sub. I patiently stood in line behind an older gentleman and when it was my turn to order the two kids that were working the cashier station separated… one went to the back and the other was too busy looking at their cell phone. I stood there for about a minute just observing everything and decided clearly my business wasn’t that important to them. As I started to reach the front door that’s when the girl decided to finally decided to say “I can help you”… No thanks, clearly you need a lesson in customer service. Food has always been good at this location but I was extremely disappointed.

I was in there last Monday. I watched a man belittle the employees the entire time I was there. I asked an employee if their manager was always like that. The employee seemed traumatized and did not want to talk about it. Another employee informed me that this man was the owner. They both stated that their managers were fine. They stated that the only time the environment is this toxic is when the owner is there.

I just ordered doordash first time eating your guys subs and omg. It was AMAZING!!! I never leave reviews but this sub was just so good!!! You guys could have told me how good it was I would’ve ordered a bigger sub lol, but I highly recommend!!! I’ll be eating here almost everyday for lunch lol
