I went to Firehouse subs based on a recommendation for their meatball sub. I can honestly say it is the best meatball sub I have ever eaten at a sub shop. The location is tucked into a crowded shopping center. Once you turn at the light go down and turn right at Mattress Firm and you will drive right into the Firehouse Sub shop. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I just wish the location on Westover terrace was still open. I have posted pictures of the Wall menu and I’m definitely going to have to go back to try some of those selections.

This is the rudest and dirtiest fire house I’ve ever been in. The women didn’t speak to me the whole time I was ordering just stared at me… I asked for pickles on my COLD turkey sub she said they don’t have any cut up right now. I said okay then give me one on the side… I’m standing waiting and go to get ice and they have no ice in the machine so everyone was getting drinks without ice. I’m still then waiting and then I got closer to where sandwiches were being put out and this women asks if I’m door dash at this point i have been waiting 30 minutes for a take out order. I say no I’m waiting on two subs they were in that bag that had been sitting but no receipt is put out or is a name called. They were too busy with headphones in their ears to be bothered. I get my sub I check it and it’s a HOT Turkey sub with nothing but lettuce no pickles what so ever no condiments I asked for. The second sub was a New York steamer and there was the tiniest bit of cheese I’ve ever seen I didn’t even think any was on it. There was so much mayo it was ridiculous. Also the app and website do not have any options to order anything gluten free. Never return to this location I’ll continue to go to the one in Winston this was the worst experience I’ve had in a long time.

I sent in an online order for three sandwiches. Two with chips and drinks. Upon pickup, they said it didn’t come with drinks even though I paid for them. I had to show them the order receipt to get my drinks and then they said, “cups are on the counter!” So I had to get them myself. Once I got home, I discovered my Bacon Turkey Ranch had no Turkey on it. I usually would have called but the rude service I received made me want to get it resolved in person. I asked to speak to the manager, Nella, upon arrival. She wouldn’t tell me her name. Her worker had too. She accused me, very loudly, so everyone could hear of taking the turkey off and coming back to get a free sandwich. Why would I remove the turkey and drive 20 minutes with bread, bacon, and cheese to get another sandwich. Nella was rude and very unprofessional. Finally got my sandwich correct but will not be returning to this store.

This is not the first time this location loses an order. Today I arrived to pick up an order and it wasn’t done. They asked me for the name and said “oh yeah we lost that ticket” like whatever. Asked me to tell them again what was in the order. I didn’t place the order so I didn’t know. They later found it, they said “when we get busy we lose tickets” what?! Jersey Mike’s is a lot better!!

You can get just about any kind of sub you’d like, but I recommend their specialty Subs. The flavoring is outstanding. The service is friendly and prompt. If you don’t understand something on the menu, just ask they’re happy to help. It’s nice to go to a place that supports local firefighters.

I used to love Firehouse Subs. I don’t know what happened in the last few years but the service at this location is horrible. You will not get the proper service unless you prove without a shadow of a doubt that you(customer) did nothing wrong. They will let random people pick up your food without even admitting that they were wrong. Good luck with this location. Don’t spend your hard earned money here.
