Very disappointing walking into Firehouse tonight. The male employee working first reminded us there were only seven minutes until closing, which we understood. Shortly after, Julia came out and rudely repeated the same thing with a tone and attitude. We stayed polite, yet the interaction felt extremely unprofessional. One employee who was off the clock was joking around and making comments like “you guys wanna order more stuff?” in a mocking way, and she laughed along. Overall, the behavior right before closing was disappointing. Management really needs to improve professionalism among the younger staff. I would not recommend going there based on this experience.

Had the meatball sub a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic with good meatballs and plenty of marinara sauce on it. Tonight not so good, the marinara sauce was practically painted onto the meatballs with loads of bread and no sauce hardly at all. Appears to be no consistency in making this sub at this location.

I ordered the Hook and Ladder under a two for twenty promotion. They only give you four choices which didn’t include my favorite sub so I gave this one a try. I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty the ham and turkey breast was in my sub. The requested additional vegetables in my sandwich were plentiful except for the diced pickle and black olives I added to my sub. Anything that doesn’t normally come on a particular sub doesn’t give you the option to make it an “extra” amount like they do on the standard sub toppings that already come on it. That would be a great change they could make to their online ordering system.
Other than that my sub was larger than normal which surprised me since the bread was wider than it has been. It’s been super skinny bread more often than I can count. The wider sub bread was great and felt more like getting a full regular large sub!

We ordered 4 sandwiches on line. 3 were club on a sub. All should have had bacon as it is part of sandwich not an add n. Mine had NO BACON. Been a long time eating Firehouse and really missed the bacon which makes the sandwich!!!! Debbie Luke 12/22/25

Firehouse Subs in Crestview is conveniently located in the Publix shopping center, which makes it a great spot for a quick and tasty meal. We often switch between Publix Subs and Firehouse for some variety, and Firehouse never disappoints.
The food is always good, and the service is fast. We especially love their Meatball subs – they’re one of our go-to orders!
If you’re in the area and looking for a solid sub spot, we definitely recommend giving Firehouse a visit. It’s a great option for a quick and satisfying meal!

Wasn’t impressed. Not much meat and an Italian sub that is sweet is just weird. The service is stellar but there was hardly any meat on our subs. Wife hated hers. The last bite or so of my sub was mostly bread. I’ve tried the Italian, the steamer the Jamaican thing and it’s all a pass for me. Maybe order extra meat if you go here

I tried to order on the app at 8:15 PM and they close at 9:00 PM, but it wouldn’t let me order for that night. The only choice it gave me was to pick it up the next day. I didn’t want to call and order it if they didn’t want to make sandwiches that late but feel they need to say their closing time is earlier than 9PM if that’s how they feel. I emailed to complain and took pictures of the open sign from the parking lot when I couldn’t order on the app but never heard back from anyone. So, that is why I only gave them 2 stars. I really like their subs but the customer service seems to be lacking in a big way.

Stopped in to grab a few subs for dinner. Used the app. I ordered an Italian. Even ordered a meat ball sub for work the next day. Put the order in the parking lot. Kids ran in to Publix to grab a few things and by the time they were done our subs were being put in the bag. Works out perfect.

This restaurant is located in the Publix shopping Plaza on South Ferdon St. and is open from 10am to 5pm. The restaurant is clean, the food was fresh and hot and the staff was friendly and professional.

Always been one of my favorite sandwich shops. Consistently good food and good service. They even helped me out once by selling me a side of grilled chicken when my girl’s $18.00 salad from a fancy sit-down place came without the chicken.
