Villa Corona is one of those reliable local spots I keep coming back to when I want something quick and satisfying. The food is always decent — not necessarily gourmet, but definitely flavorful and consistent. Their burritos and tacos are my usual go-tos, and they always come out fresh and hot.

What I really appreciate is how convenient they are. Service is fast, the staff is friendly, and it’s easy to grab a meal on the go without sacrificing quality. The prices are fair for the portions, and everything feels freshly made rather than “fast food.”

It’s not the most exceptional Mexican restaurant in town, but it’s a solid choice when you want something good, simple, and dependable. Definitely a local staple for an easy, no-fuss meal!

If you want terrible food and service, go somewhere else :). This restaurant is awesome. It has great selection, great tasting food, and an awesome staff. It’s cozy and nicely decorated.

One of the better food choices in the Nut Tree Center.

I only tried the grilled chicken taco. I liked that it wasn’t at all greasy and overall pretty healthy. It would’ve been nice to have had some salsa on the side though.

It’s pleasant inside and the woman who helped us today was nice.

I’d be very open to trying more items here.

One of the best Mexican food I ever had. Large servings at very reasonable price. 7 adults and 3 kids ate here with $120 bill. Chicken taquitos were crunchy with soft chicken. Chilaquiles was amazing with crispy tortillas.

One of ny favorite Mexican restaurants. The carne asada burrito is sooo yummy!! As is everything here. They don’t deserve a 1-star for an employee speaking loudly on the phone during a break. Five stars all the way. Plus, the people who work here are really nice. And the nice is authentico.

Amazing chimichanga and super nachos here! Taking off a star because they asked us if we wanted chips and salsa without mentioning that it would be extra charge (most places like this give chips and salsa free of charge) had I known the were going to charge me I would have gotten the guac as well for just a dollar more. Other than that the service was friendly and fast. The decoration was beautiful and quirky, made me feel at home. Will be visiting again soon…

Food was amazing and the staff were all friendly!!
The taco salad is perfect!

(The only thing I disliked was that there was no A/C. It was pretty hot inside.)

If you want authentic Mexican tacos, then this is the place to go! The food was delicious, and the service was great. You can sit either inside or outside. The food is made to order and comes out fresh. No complaints!

It’s a mixed review: great steak salad, wonderful server (a young girl who cheerily welcomed everyone), good value for the portion size. Flashy artifacts on the wall. Good music. Not-so-good basics: chips tough, watery guacamole, sauces watered down with cornstarch added to thicken them, chicken filling not salty enough tonight.

Surprisingly, the Fajita Salad tasted like a Philly Cheesesteak in that they grilled white button mushrooms along with bell peppers, onions and tender steak strips as the “fajita” topping. This mixture was placed atop a bed of lettuce (one piece was very large); small diced tomatoes and small diced onions. Next came gorgeously fresh, perfectly sliced and fanned avocado. This was drizzled with a white mixture which may have been Cotija cheese. Finely shredded cheddar was sprinkled over all. No olives, no dressing, needed salt, steak very delicious. I highly recommend this salad for people on a ketogenic diet.

My husband ate 1/3 of his order. He ordered a tamale and the man didn’t hear him and gave him an enchilada. My husband said the enchilada sauce tasted like canned brown gravy. He said the rice and beans were just okay. He ordered the guacamole and didn’t eat it or the chips or the salsa. He couldn’t eat the guacamole because it was mostly onions and tomatoes. “Avocado was the afterthought,” he said. I didn’t like the salsa, which was heavy on the jalapeños or whatever spice was added. If you like things hot you’d like it.

We are visiting from out of town and found Villa Corona through Google reviews. Google recommended it was similar to one of our favorite Mexican restaurants back home in Orange County, so we gave it a try. It was amazing! The tacos were to die for. And the beans! Tasted just like my mother-in-laws…Delicious!
