A cozy high-end location that provides traditional Japanese dishes alongside American sushi favorites. The staff, you are incredible the ambience is impeccable, and the sake offerings are good. They even have a few solid thai offerings on the side, I know from personal insight that the recipes are from Thai origin.

Been living in the area more than a year and can’t believe this was my first time trying this restaurant. Great food and service. Really appreciate that the menu has pictures. Definitely coming back to try more items on the menu.

It was okay! Food was nicely presented, though the Unagi (Eel) bowl was a tad on the salty side. Miso soup was very good on the contrary! Tasted home made. Fried Philly roll is okay, too. My favorite so far is the Salmon Skin Hand Roll. Not fishy at all with a satisfying crunch. Pretty Good.

This is a great sushi place in west county! Friendly service and a huge menu of sushi and other Japanese favorites.. the shrimp tempura and volcano rolls are my personal favorites. Food comes out quickly and is fresh with nice presentation. There are a bunch of good sushi choices in the STL area but Fin is one I always come back to and know I’ll get a great meal.

We had a fantastic lunch with family today. Lots of sake bombs and the food was delightful. We enjoyed sushi (fin dynamite was our favorite; pictured on the right in my sushi photo), scallop carpaccio, drunken samurai udon noodles, edamame, and some of the best miso soup any of us have ever had. We make this a yearly tradition to stop in at least once over winter break while visiting our family in Saint Louis. Until next time!

I’m in the process of moving my reviews over from Yelp. This was originally published at the end of 2019 but we’ve been back dozens of times since then. Fin is our second-favorite sushi place in STL. Here’s the review:
I’ve been back a couple of times in the last month and need to upgrade my review. Their fish is nice and fresh with great flavor. The tempura is delicate yet delicious and the bento boxes don’t disappoint. Also, there are very few places that make their California rolls with real crab…this is one of them.
Both times I’ve been in recently we came for a somewhat early (before 6pm arrival) dinner and noted the place fills up. Their business seems to be booming but they remain an unassuming little storefront in a strip mall with one of the worst traffic flows I’ve ever seen.
Brave the traffic, deal with the horrible parking and try this place out for dinner.

Had an amazing dinner here. The volcano roll stole the show, but also got many varieties of rolls. The food was fantastic. Service was a bit slow but nothing to complain about. Great overall quality and the best sushi I’ve ever had. This place is definitely worth a visit. I will be returning.

I used to come here pretty often in the past, but haven’t been back for a while after a few bad experiences. My favorite here was the Warrior roll, so I went again with hope things had changed. We came around dinner time and got seated promptly. I ordered the warrior roll along with spicy yellow tail, eel avocado and fin dynamite. The warrior roll was great as I expected. In fact, it never failed me. Other rolls were decent. IMO rice was a bit dry. Service was better than my last visit. The wait wasn’t too bad, especially there was only one server working on a several tables.

I was craving for some Japanese food. I decided to give this restaurant a try. There were plenty of parking out front. The restaurant wasn’t busy. It was clean and had a beautiful decor. Staff were friendly. There were a lot of sushi choices. I love their chicken katsu. It was unique and crispy. Their red bird roll was delicious and tasteful. I wasn’t too impressed with their shrimp tempera roll. It was plain. I had a good experience with this restaurant.
