I’ve always had good experiences at this location. The staff have been friendly, the food has been good, and the service has been overall decent. The restaurant is kept clean, the bathrooms are locked but in decent shape, and the salsa bar is well maintained.

I am handicapped and have a service dog, and when I was at the Filibertos at 635 E Wetmore Rd., I was eating, and the manager came up to my table and told me I had to leave because of my dog. I explain to him that he was a service dog and he said he didn’t care and said I had to leave anyway. I asked for his name he refused to give it. I asked for his supervisors name, and he refused to give that as well. I also tried to show him the ADA laws, but he refused to even read them, and walked away from me. He refused to talk to me. Except to say my dog had to go outside. Here is a picture of a manager.

Cashier didn’t want to honor my full order because I used a promo code through DoorDash. She said it costs Filiberto’s money by people using DoorDash discounts. Well, the receipt provided on the order states the promo is paid by DoorDash and not the restaurant it is used at. So is DoorDash providing false info or is the Filiberto’s cashier a liar? Picture of the receipt is uploaded here. I’m not one to ask for the manager, so I just left there with a partial order that ended up costing me more. Last time I ever visit this place.

I usually like this place but this was the final straw. I live close by and stop by here often. One of the ladies at the drive thru at night is the worst. At first I thought it was a simple mistake but after this time I know she is purposely doing it. Every time I ask for red salsa and she always put way less then what I ask for or just puts in the wrong ones. I have asked both in English and Spanish and even put up the amount of fingers of the amount I want. Well I knew it was her again and specifically asked for 4 red salsas even after I got my order so she wouldn’t get it wrong. What does she do? Walks over with two of them puts it in my bag and says thank you, shuts the window and walks away. I didn’t even have time to ask for more lol. Now at this point I know this is intentional. They have a salsa bar inside where u can get any amount you want. The inside is closed at night or I would have gone in. I didn’t know their watery salsa was so valuable to them where she does this every single time. Call me petty if you want but I just won’t spend my money here anymore because of her. All the other ladies here are super friendly and I never have an issue. There’s plenty of options near by where I can spend my money elsewhere. I’m sure no one there reads these or even cares, they will make their money regardless. If I’m spending 30 bucks and can’t even get 4 small red (watered down) salsas to enjoy my meal just a bit more then I don’t need come here anymore. ✌️good job salsa police!

Initially I came in with a large order for a get together. I was missing a few items which made up two people’s meals. I called and a man, claiming to be the manager, answered the phone and asked me what the problem was. I explained and he stated that he remembered my order. He asked if I had my receipt and I stated I was never given a receipt. He joked and said that was “expected of his employees” but assured me it was okay and I could come and get the items within the week and just give my name since STAFF failed to provide me with a receipt but HE REMEMBERED my order. I came back today (within the week) and the same “manager” proceeded to berate me and chastise me for not having a receipt despite acknowledging he did in fact talk to me previously. Absolutely ridiculous and disgusting service. He essentially told me to F myself despite knowing everything. His coworkers were laughing in the background as he belittled me for not having a receipt he already knew I never got. I’m absolutely appalled by this and as someone with 8 years of hospitality experience under my belt I think you should be ashamed. If these are the kind of people you hire for MANAGEMENT positions I would seriously reconsider your choices. If I could submit this with negative stars I would.

Carne asada plates (# 9) were pricey and the very dry meat came uncut with only a plastic knife and fork! Ended up using fingers to tear it Orders for the sides were wrong on three of the four plates. Not a good experience or taste experience except for the abodobo burritos, which were generous and good

The food was out very quickly and the environment was very quiet, just casual conversation and some low tv playing as they had their TV’s up on the walls, definitely a great spot to just come and have some hot food

Placed an order on doordash for pickup but after half an hour they still hadn’t confirmed the order. When I arrived I found that the employees were inside with all the lights off just eating at the tables. They had apparently decided to close the store and hour and a half early and there was 3 cars in the drive thru trying to order. I was then left with no food and had to wait 5-7 days for a refund from doordash. Extremely unprofessional to close early and leave people waiting in the drive thru confused and still be taking money from online orders.
