Since they reopened. The portions and even salsa has gotten riches. I love the salsa bar, got me some adobada street tacos and hooked them up with a whole color pallet of flavor!

Won’t be frequenting this place ever again. New management? Looks like they’re in need of New Management.
Let me start by saying I loved this place. So much so that I stopped to get a breakfast burrito on my way to work this rainy Saturday morning. And enjoy when our family gets food from here for dinner.
Never again! Perhaps a different location. Never here.

After ordering my $13 breakfast burrito plus taxs, I informed the smug rude woman working the drive-thru that I had a 50 cent off any burrito coupon. Yes 50¢.
She stated there no longer accepting those coupons
I Inquired as to if it was still filibertos and informed her that it is still within the valid redemption dates.
Which she states they have new management.
I double checked that it was the still the same franchise, in the same location and within the date to make their advertisement valid.
She confirmed it was, and that they have new management for the franchise and they’re no longer honoring their advertisement or commitments.
At which point I voided my order and left went to brushfire across the street for half the price.
50 cents, and myself, my wife, or our children will no longer patronize your business, embarrassingly that’s over $60 a transaction, not simply over 50 cents, but because unethical business practices seem to flourish even more outside of the customer’s knowledge.
Please remember people when these businesses will illegally falsely advertise to save 50 cents. What else are they doing?
Are you going to get half the size of burrito because they save a lot more per transaction by skimping? Are you going to receive mostly vegetables and potatoes in your burritos because it is cheaper than meat and cheese?
If you do get some meat in there is it going to be nothing but fat or sub quality grissly meat because it’s cheaper?
Yeah rather than play that game we would rather support another local business that does not support or have representing them rude liars.
Good riddance, every corner for miles of here sells some type of Mexican food. Time to start spreading the money away from this place

LAST straw with this place. I have forgiven too many times to count. Ordered the Thursday night Tostada Special and paid for extra beans. I came home to a paper thin spread of beans. I scraped them off just for experiment and they didn’t even fill a 1.5 oz shot glass. I paid $4.00 for it and didn’t even get cheese!!
When you are unethical, I bounce. After 15 years of living in the neighborhood and giving you so many chances, It’s not me, it’s you. I’m officially moving on to the plethora of other options in the area that aren’t as greedy and cheap as you. Be advised you pay more for less here time after time. Adiós

They are usually really Good with my orders but they have had a few issues with my orders & it seems like they don’t want to fix the issue with their Communication!! I want them to take care of this problem!! I stopped going to the Filiberto’s on 91st Ave & Olive because of some of the Staff who were rude. I found this one & I enjoy the $0.99 Taco Tuesday & some. Of the other Amazing Offers they have but it’s frustrating when they don’t get my order correct….

My order was incorrect!! I asked for 4 beef tacos on Flour Taco’s the lady only put “Soft” I drove All the way back home only to find out that I have Soggy Beef Tacos on Corn Tortillas!!!

I also asked her to see if the cook would Mix my Breakfast Tacos (Chorizo & Egg with the Potato & Egg). She said “Yes” no problem!! It wasn’t DONE!! The Chorizo is Burnt… UGH!!

I just want you guys to know that the communication is Not Good & your customers are NOT Happy with their food!! I couldn’t even eat my Beef Tacos!! They were disgusting!!

We go weekly every Saturday morning to this Filibertos and always have a pleasant experience. The man running the drive thru is always very friendly and efficient. Our food is always great. My recent quesadilla had a lot of chicken. so compliments to the chef!

Super Nachos don’t have meat anymore which is disappointing.
Still the same delicious food as 6 years ago.
Prices have about doubled from 10 years ago.
They no longer accept those 50-cent off coupons.

The location reopened after a brief shutdown and I visited as they had issued a buy one get one free coupon specific to this location before the unexpected closure. It was between 3 and 4 o’clock on a weekday when I stopped in and the dining room was completely empty; not one customer. I went to place my order only to be informed that they weren’t going to honor the coupon due to new management. Needless to say I was very disappointed but what could I do. I chose not to order anything and just walked out. I’m not very “quick” when it comes to retorts but I often realize what should have said or done usually days later. Given that the restaurant was absolutely dead I should have said something to the effect of, “So instead of receiving ten dollars from me today and other business from me in the future, you’re willing to accept zero dollars from me today and zero dollars from me in the future.” They didn’t appear to be in a position to be turning down business, but that’s exactly what they chose to do. I’ll never go back, even when my craving for super nachos is unbearable. I’ll find another place that serves Mexican food that’s just as good if not better and where they understand customer service and appreciate my business.

Not sure what happened after the new ownership:
Last two times i ordered a taco/burrito combo the burrito has just had meat. Just a tortilla and meat. Nothing else.
Not the friendliest and we just recently were told that drinks come with a meal… we never received or were asked for which drinks we wanted before that…
Huge lack of training and consistent recipes

No picture because i doubt people want to see my half eaten food.

I went through the drive thru Saturday night. I ordered the 2 beef taco combo and 1 shredded beef burrito. When she handed the bag to me it felt quite light for this much food. I took the burrito out and saw that it was smaller than usual. I typically get a combo meal for that night and the burrito for next days lunch.
So I get home excited to dig into my combo meal only to find out that the tacos are virtually empty. One was barely thicker than and empty shell. The second was only slightly fuller. My excitement turned to disappointment. I got out my phone and took pictures cause I’m immediately not happy about the meal I just paid almost $20 for. I held both tacos together and they are still smaller than what 1 beef taco usually would be.
I’m trying to figure out if this was managements idea or if this was a mistake from the cook. Did management instruct the cooks to slim down the portions on all food? Or was this a simple mistake? I’m aware that costs have gone up for all of us and I’m not sure how much it’s affected Filibertos but if this is the new normal then I won’t be coming back because $20 just isn’t worth it for these portions. I should have driven right back to the place to complain but I was already home and starving.
I can honestly say that the burrito was good but it was about 25% smaller than a I’ve gotten in the past.
Because of the smaller sizes I was able to eat the combo meal and burrito in one sitting. Typically, I would be stuffed after the combo even with my daughter sharing with me.
If I ever come back I will question the portion size next time before I order and check before I leave. Because honestly, I’d rather keep the money and spend it on groceries.
