I just needed more from this place! Im not a rice guy, prefer potatoes instead! They didn’t have any substitute options! Ordered double beans but didn’t recieve extra beans! Salsa was to thin and sweet like marinara! Expected a frosted mug for my beer but it wasn’t. Margarita had way too much ice in my opinion! After Every drink seemed like my cup was empty! Everyone else seemed to be happy, so I think it was just not for me.

First time here. Food was good. Large portions. We both ordered the jumbo burrito with ground beef and got the 3 tacos on the side to share. Way too much food, but not complaining. The burritos were huge, so definitely didn’t need the tacos. Neither of us could finish the burrito. Ate a third of one and half of the other and was stuffed. We did have salsa, queso, and chips before food came out though. Price was decent, about the same as any other Mexican restaurant and the food came out super fast. Overall good experience. Would stop again

Had to try Ohio’s take on Mexican food to see if it was similar to Tex-Mex. Had the combination meal of 2 cheese enchiladas and a taco. Wife had the combination meal of a burrito with rice and beans. Both were very close to our typical Texas Mexican food. The only thing the wife did not think was up to standard was the rice.
Service was fast and friendly. Chips and salsa was put down almost as soon as we sat down. Salsa was good with just the right amount of spice for my taste.

If you like Mexican food El San Jose is the place to go, lots of food to choose from, margaritas are the bomb, you get waited on right away, the staff is very friendly, and always making sure you got what you need. I definitely recommend El San Jose.

Good service. Good margarita specials on Monday. Got the peach margarita on the rocks, half pitcher. Delicious. Salsa was acceptable. Got san jose special, which was 3 enchiladas (beef, chicken, cheese) with rice. Beef enchilada was ground beef with onions. Different fruition what I’m used to, but pretty good.
I’d definitely recommend this place at least for the drinks on Mondays.

This is by far the best indoor dining Mexican food around! Never do we have something we do not like! You must try the creamy Chipotle sauce! Taquitos are homemade and fried to perfection! You get so much food! Service was magnificent! Our waiter was very attentive! We come here every time we visit the area!
