First time here, ordered Menudo, take out great customer service. The food was too salty. Note to the cook always remember less salt is better than too much salt. Unfortunately, we could not eat it the menudo. I won’t be coming back but I’m sure the locals will continue supporting this cute Restaurant.

FAT TACOS!! FRESHLY MADE FOOD WORTH THE WAIT AND PRICE…these tacos are fat! They have so much food I can actually save a little scratch by sharing them with my two toddlers. The carne guisada is delicious and the beef fajita and barbacoa tacos are also good. The breakfast tacos are the bomb diggity hot n fresh. They usually have the same people up front and a man there who seems like the owner is always greeting and saying bye to clients. Many repeat clients from the hood come here and love it…our family has tried most places around this area and feel this has the best food. The prices are a little bit more than what we’re used to paying… but hey the food is fresh and hot and the staff and service is good so the price seems fair and evens out. Oh also they have barbacoa specials for Sunday too!

Me and my wife went this morning and I should of walked out when we didn’t see anyone in the restaurant. Coffee was nasty,corn tortillas were hard and stale. Barbacoa was not the best. Oh, and I forgot to mention that there was a roach leg on the lip of my coffee cup. I can’t believe we stayed to eat.

“Hidden Gem” of the Heritage San Antonio Westside on Guadalupe not far from Avenida Guadalupe, OLLU, ST. Mary’s University, Guadalupe Cultural Center, and the Westside Art Museum. Booths and table service, decent restroom, binary, highchairs, food for all ages and tastes, friendly service, delicioso! Chips and salsa upon arrival and freshly blended Guacamole. My new neighborhood fave.

My wife and I went there today and didn’t have a good experience. The coffee was really nasty and tasted burnt, so we drank water. We ordered 2 $6 plates, the rice was cold and every restaurant we’ve ever eaten at we would get 3 cheese enchiladas and this time was only 2. The restaurant was freezing and that may have created the cause for cold food. The check came out to $15.18 but the plates were only $6 each. Tax should’ve been about 96¢, not $3.18. Definitely don’t recommend this place. The food was mediocre, not anything special at all I would definitely go back to my restaurants and not go back here. Dos hermanos and la tapatia are really good places for delicious Mexican food. Their tortillas were really good though. The chairs were all different styles and I was sinking in mine. Oh and my wife went to the restroom and neither stall had toilet paper so she had to wait till we got home. The waitress was a badass, though! She was busy being the only one there.

SERVICE IS HORRIBLE AND THE POZOLE IS HALF CHICKEN AND HALF PORK BUT THEY DONT TELL YOU.. QUALITY OF PORK WAS HORRIBLE.. YOU CAN TELL THEY WANT TO SAVE MONEY CAUSE THEY BUY THE FATTY PORK. OHHH AND THEY DONT HAVE HORCHATA EITHER.. THE WAITRESS AND THE CASHIER ARE BOTH RUDE AND ACT BOTHERED WHEN YOU ASK FOR NAPKINS AND REFILLS.. THEY AREN’T TOO GOOD ABOUT CHECKING ON THE CUSTOMER.
