Reviews
Prices have gotten out of control. Used to go every weekend and ordered the same thing once a week. Used to be around $24, then it went up to $30, then $38. Last visit, it was just over $40! I like the food and I totally understand everything has gone up. But I can not justify paying $40 for fast food, especially when the quality is not consistent enough. So sadly, we will no longer make our weekly trip.
Update April 2024:
This last weekend, the food quality was back to its former glory and why we go once a week. The burritos were stuffed and full of flavor. The rolled tacos were not overcooked, and the chicken was so good. I hope they can maintain the great quality!
Original review:
We go once a week and order the same thing every week. The only change is that sometimes we get breakfast burritos instead of Arizona burritos on the rare occasions that I go in the morning. The price has gone up a TON, but the quantity has gone down. There is less meat and goodies in the burritos, and the rolled tacos have been dry and over cooked lately. The flavor in the burrito is still great, though. I just wish they were consistent.
I picked up 2 orders of 5 rolled tacos on the way home after working a 12-hour shift. I live 20 min away. Got home, and they are way overcooked, extra crunchy.
I called to make them aware and that I couldn’t come back tonight, but I would gladly stop by with my receipt and the pics tomorrow after work. They wanted me to drive back tonight or no refund.
It’s the whole principle of not making this right. Your error, Frederico’s, should not be my time and money on your poor quality. Do better! Won’t be back to this location.
PS..I contacted my bank and sent pics. My bank refunded me.
Edit/update: this have been consistent and freakin beautiful nearly every time( cause humans do make mistakes). taste, service and attitude is, I’d say, a notch higher than those in same business class thank yall for the greatness.
From our first experience:
The service was friendly & prompt. However, we asked for pico, not knowing this wasn’t included and weren’t told there was an up charge of $1.99 until we got to the window and were paying. We had just pulled out of the parking lot while checking our food, since one of the only/biggest complaints here is botching orders, and noticed they had forgotten the pico we paid extra for, and gave us 2 sauces instead of 4.
Other than those two mistakes, I’d say the food was pretty great! I ordered the carne fries, and they definitely beat out Fili B’s carne fries hands down. My husband prefers the crinkle cut fries, while I prefer regular fries, which is what they serve here. That’s really up to preference— but the flavor was great and the hot sauce had a nice kick to it! My husband got a chicken taco and a beef taco, and said the beef was better than Fili B’s, and while the chicken he felt wasn’t terrible it wasn’t his favorite, it was definitely more generous when it came to the portion.
Overall, not bad at all! If we need a last minute and/or late night dinner and are craving Mexican food, we’ll definitely hit up Federico’s from now on!
