Small town feel, big menu, friendly and personable. We enjoyed our order, and given that it was on a busy night for eating out (12/23) they did a great job overall with service (teamwork oriented). Very slight dive bar feel, but comfortable and warm aesthetic. Also they sell chicken modiga and Greek salad…. So that works for us.

Best catfish I have tried in a long time( took a bite of my partners. I had a crescent club and it was delicious. Service was very good. We sat in a bar area of to side and it was nice and quiet. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back.

So tasty! Passing through from out of town and stopped for dinner on a Friday night. 2 adults, 2 kids. Service was excellent, friendly, attentive, fast. My youngest daughter wanted her dish prepared a little differently from the menu and it was no problem, came out exactly as ordered and no up charge. I had prime rib with green beans and mashed potatoes – really really good meat and seasoning. Husband had the ribs – so tender yet meaty. Yummy sauce. Older daughter ordered a burger and it was massive. I drive to St Louis a couple times a year and will definitely try to stop here on the way back in the future. Delicious meal and nice service. Highly recommend!

This was our first visit, our food was good and our server Tim was excellent! It did take a SUPER long time to get our food, and a table came in much later than we did, and they got their food directly after we did, and they were still just as busy. We will definitely return to try different options.

I love all the historic pics on the walls. Lunch was a tad slow but the were really busy at the time so it was no big deal. I really enjoyed the mushrooms. Next time I think I will get them for my meal instead of a shareable appetizer.

Been a patron of West Allen Grill for years, food always excellent. I ordered a to go Franch Onion Soup this evening. It was horrible tasting, and who could tell there were croutons? I understand there are new owners. Maybe the owners should try sampling their finish products before sending out to customers. So sad but we won’t be going back unless we hear positive reviews.

We came here,for dinner ordered A well done steak and meat loaf. We waited over 30 minutes,I got my meat loaf, the steak took another 20.
When we got the steak,it was almost rare,when we ordered Well done,sent it back, after another 15mins, it came back, still under cook.
