Loved the outdoor seating, especially on this beautiful fall day. The inside has a super cool vibe as well. The way most of the seating works is like a food hall. So, on a busy day or night you may dine at a table amongst strangers. We ordered the Fried Pickles, Pulled Pork BBQ Tacos, 1 Ranch Brisket Taco, 1 BBQ Brisket Taco & Potato Salad. Overall, I thought the pork tacos were great. The onions and slaw paired super well with the BBQ sauce. My boyfriend enjoyed the brisket tacos, but wasn’t really a fan of the ranch style one. Neither of us cared for the potato salad and found it kind of bland. The pickles had good flavor paired with the cheese on top and were perfectly cooked. The staff was friendly and genuine. Good draft beer selection. I thought it really was good overall, but it wasn’t quite what I expected. I will still be returning to try a few more things.

Visiting town for a few days and Googled “best BBQ in Louisville” and Feast came up often in several “top 10” lists for BBQ in Louisville. Went on a Tuesday afternoon around 1pm. It was pretty quiet with maybe 5 other groups there. Ordered sliced brisket Platter which comes with 2 sides–I ordered collards and mac n cheese. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Much of it is community seating. Nice vibe and very clean. Service was good, but the restaurant was slow and mid-day, so staff was not overly noticeable. The brisket was very good, very flavorful and moist, good fatty parts that added to the flavor. The Collards were also very good, but super vinegary. I happen to like them like that, but others might not. Mac N Cheese was ok. It had weird texture but the flavor was there. They had 2 sauces original and spicy. Both were good, but not great. Really the brisket didn’t need much flavor added. I had high expectations and was pleased, but not blown away. However, I will stop here again and try some different items.

The smoked sausage was the best. Brisket was okay. Was not as moist or smokey as I would have liked. Maybe my expectations were just too high as they were highly recommended. Also ordered the potato salad and Dillard green and they were ok. Coworker had the mac and cheese and sweet potato fries and they were excellent. Prob. Get those instead next time.

The food is really good but a little pricey and they ask for a tip when you order but there’s no table service. Would definitely recommend the ribs and brisket. The bread pudding sticks dipping sauce has a bourbon taste to it.

Let me start off by saying, BBQ to me is best smoked and dry rubbed, with sauce on the side. With that being said, this was neither of those two things. But holy smokes, was it delicious!! The beer selection lacked nothing. The ribs themselves were tender, and the sauce concoction was like nothing I had ever had before. I mean talk about delicious!!
I ordered two sides to go with my ribs, mac n cheese and potato salad. The mac n cheese was pretty good. It definitely had that home made taste and texture. The potato salad was some of the best I have ever had, though!!! The only fault I can come up with is, there was no salt n pepper shakers on any of the tables. Now the mac n cheese was good, but it would have been even better with salt n pepper. I thought that move was a little odd, but bold as well.

Banana pudding was the best I’ve ever had! Want to know the recipe!! Brisket was as dry as a dead person in the desert in Arizona. But pork was great.

Very good BBQ. Solid food in general The beef brisket was among the best I’ve ever had. (But it seemed pretty pricey at $18 for a half pound plate). All other pricing seemed fair. Banana pudding was stupendous. Pretty decent draft choices Very cool aviance to the place. They managed to pay tribute to the bbq shack tradition with the picnic tables, outdoor seating, counter service, Spartan decor and no-nonsense menu. Yet, the place it’s very clean, it has bright open indoor spaces and just kind of a hip little vibe to it.

Came at the request of a local.
The bbq brisket was good, as were the tots. The baked beans were my favorite.
The Mac and cheese came out cold, and when I inquired about it the staff brought out a fresh one that was hot.
Overall, the food was great and we’d return next time we’re around!

My fiance and I finally visited Feast BBQ in Jtown today for dinner. I had the 1/2 lb. Of pulled pork with potato salad and macaroni & cheese. She had the pulled pork sandwich with macaroni & cheese with the bread pudding bites. We were blown away! The pulled pork needs no sauce at all, its delicious. It has so much flavor, I couldnt get enough. The potato salad is mayo based and is very creamy well balanced, let’s not forget about the macaroni & cheese which was phenomenal as well. My fiance thinks the bread pudding is the best sweet treat shes ever had.
We loved the look of the restaurant and the music set a pretty cool laid back vibe. This will definitely be regular stop for us. 5 STARS!!

The flavors of this place are incredible! Honestly. We had smoked wings and a brisket sandwich with two sides Mac and cheese and potato salad. The potato salad was AMAZING. I’m not even a huge fan of potato salad but wow incredible. I would definitely stop here. Only reason I give four stars instead of five is because we had the bourbon slushie and it’s honestly almost impossible to drink between the paper straws and plastic recycled ones, they just break and it’s so icy it doesn’t slide out of the cup. It just became annoying seeing the slushie there and not being able to drink it. Other then very great.
