Had half Philly with fries and drink. Beef a little dry, but added some of their signature sauce and made the sandwich 10x better. Love battered fries, so that was good. The amount of food you get and the price are within reason. Floors are a little slippery, so watch your step.

Honestly a let down. The food was very bland, the mozzarella sticks barely tasted like cheese, the cheesesteak tasted more like processed cheese than steak, and the fat jersey sandwich I got tasted only like honey mustard. For almost $50 I expected a lot more flavor and quality. The only thing that was good was the milkshakes. Honestly wouldn’t recommend anyone come here unless you like tasteless bland food and ridiculous prices.

My bf and I recently moved pretty close to Clarksville and had never been to fat shack. But we’ve heard from several people it was good so we tried it out tonight.
SO GOOD! He said it was the best burger he’s ever had. And I got the Fat Jersey sandwich and it’s easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. I got the whole and couldn’t finish it, so next time I’ll probably get the half and maybe some fried cheesecake bites.
We will definitely be back and be telling all of our friends.

Stopped in from out of town to try something different than a chain restaurant. When we got inside, we were the only customers there aside from an attorney from Nashville who was there to investigate the owner for “financial obligations”. It was dark, cold, and the bar was closed. Upon ordering, we were told it would be a bit for food– which was fine.
When it finally came out, one of our sandwiches wasn’t correct. We let them know and came back to the table. (Assuming the correct order was being remade.) Fifteen minutes later, we asked about the new sandwich and they acted like they weren’t aware we wanted the correct sandwich.
By this time, one sandwich was cold and the other was non-existent. We handed them the incorrect sandwich and the cold sandwich (both untouched). We told them we would like a refund for the incorrect sandwich. The cashier told us that we would have a refund in 2-3 days. When we asked for a receipt for the refund, someone we assumed was the manager was dismissive, defensive, condescending, and told us that we received what we had ordered.
Since we needed to get back on the road, and we didn’t have the energy to argue over $22, we just left. Never again. If I could leave negative stars, I would. Bad business practice and poor management. Do yourself a favor and just choose Jimmy John’s on the other side of the parking lot.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The food is what you would expect for a greasy food joint, but they do it right. We’ve tried their fat sandwiches and while they are overwhelming and tasty, we went simple this trip and stuck with a burger and a Philly with an order of mozzarella sticks. The burger was good sized and juicy with all the fixings. The Philly was good, but I did think it needed a little more cheese. However I will just order extra cheese next time. The cheese sticks were good but a little pricey for the size of the cheese sticks. Overall, if you really are wanting greasy food, this is your restaurant or if you just want a good quality meal with good service, you can go here.
