During an event I attended at the Indianapolis I opted to eat at the Fat Rooster Diner since I would not have time to eat until later in the evening. Although the price of the breakfast buffet was a bit pricey, it was amazing. The food was so fresh and delicious that I chose to eat there the following morning as well. There was a wonderful mixture of hearty oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruits, protein meats/eggs, bread products….by far the best breakfast offering I have ever eaten while traveling.

We had a great experience. The food tasted amazing. Our server, Cesar, was exceptional. I suggest asking for him when you come to eat.

I was hopping for a breakfast. It was only doing buffet. It’s in a building with a hotel so I guess that should be anticipated.
The food was good. The service was good and it’s a cute place, but you might want to check before sitting if they are doing regular breakfast or buffet. Because, it’s a bit pricey for a buffet.

Stopped at the fat Rooster for lunch between tradeshow setup and the welcome reception and was a great experience. Cesar went above and beyond with not just a great recommendation for lunch but also providing a whipped butter and brown sugar dipping sauce for my sweet potato fries and this was not something normally on the menu but being from Ohio a staple for sweet potato anything. . All in all the food and experience were top notch and Cesar did an exemplary job. Can’t wait to stop here again when in town.

Royally messed up my order and did NOT give me my crew discount. I asked for an egg white omelet, they gave me the opposite and charged more. It was cold. French toast with fruit? It’s more like regular hardened dry toast, fruit just thrown on top of the dry toast, cold and disgusting.
Society leaders keep giving the best locations to no seasoning people, no good service ppl. Oh, and quit making hash browns. Literally just shredded cold potatoes. That’s it! No seasoning! No presentation, slop. I’m certain if they change that hashbrown to home fries (Google the recipe from a person who seasons their food), they’ll get a huge difference in sale.

Average hotel restaurant with above average prices (cup of coffee $5, not published on menu). If you need a bite and everything around has a wait then get something but know you’re paying (and paying a lot) for the convenience. Lots of better places to get better tasting food in downtown.

Lackluster. We expected more, especially for the prices. Was not busy when we ordered. Took 30 minutes for sandwiches, which were sent back twice because they were not made properly. Avocado on the sandwich ended up being guacamole (with tomatoes in it), after asking for no tomato on sandwiches. One was made and then brought back with just meat and cheese. We gave an extra star because the waitress was nice.

Mr. Cesar and the executive cook , actually all of the staff at there did an outstanding job rendering the service , the preparing and serving of the food .. Absolutely wonder . My daughter and I are delighted to give this review , because I was treated with such kindness and hospitality , and considering we are from Louisiana , hospitality certainly goes a long way .. My heritage is New Orleans .. Thanks so much for the optimal services ..
