I flew into town for just 36 hours, and my friend insisted we hit Brew City — and wow, I’m glad we did! I snagged a 12:30 reservation ahead of time, and from the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly polite. We were seated right away and greeted by our waiter, who was absolutely amazing — super attentive and on point.
Within minutes, the place went from chill to full-on vibe! The drinks were top-tier, and the food did not miss. We ordered the lemon pepper wings, stuffed shrimp, and loaded fries, and honestly, they were so filling and delicious that we didn’t even need to move on to entrées.
And the cherry on top? They have hookah — a total bonus.
Brew City is definitely a must-visit when you’re in Dallas. I’ll absolutely be back!

I recommend this place. It’s a 10 out of 10. The food is excellent atmosphere was great. Staff was very friendly.!! shout out to the bartender Mimi she was excellent I definitely will be looking forward to her service the next time I fly in from Miami. Salute to the security guard as well for letting me order something to go because I didn’t have the proper shoes even though I didn’t stay I was allowed to order. Overall, I love this place and the fact that it’s black owned makes it even better✊ ❤️ I eat at a lot of places all over the country and this will definitely be my new spot. Keep up a good work and last but not least I ordered the pasta with shrimp, chicken and steak and also an order of chicken wings. I believe they were honey hot and half of them were Buffalo lemon pepper Flavor and seasonings were on point salute to the kitchen staff.

If you want a delectable brunch with great service and good vibe come here. I got the catfish shrimp and grits and it was sooooo good. The portions are nice size also. They have a DJ who interacts with the crowd, a full bar with bottle girls, and plenty of seating. The service was on point and they make sure you have everything you need to enjoy yourself. You can even get your picture taken and framed to go. Like hookah? They have that too!

Visiting from Ohio and had a great time. Fun laid back crowd ready to party. We played games and participated in r&b game night. We danced laughed and vibed all evening. The food is good and the vibes are definitely there. I recommend the omelet fasho! It was a large portion and definitely filled me up. The whole vibe was live too. The DJ was playing hit after hit. They have a bottle girl set up type of thing for birthdays. Definitely one of the best brunch spots in Dallas!

Charged 20 to enter to have dinner on a Wednesday and was treated as if we were asking for too much. They were having bingo night. Understood. But we were not notified of the rules or offered bingo to play. They relied on signs instead of communicating with walk ins. We were sat at a section and told no tables were available with 2/3 of the restaurant “closed” and every table seen available was “reserved”. If you’re fully booked why not have any tables available for dinner and walk ins for 4 or less? Idk. Over half the restaurant is shut down on a weekday but hookah is available and a dj is going all night. We were sat at a section for dinner, tables too low to eat at. Kindly asked to be seated at a table to eat and they said we would have to share the table if we moved? Confused as the place is filled with empty tables. Asked 2 more times until they gave us a high table next to the dj. It was extremely loud and unpleasant. Another time we asked and they finally moved us to a table that was “reserved” right next to the high table we were at, still loud but my legs were no longer numb. Unsure of the business model of saying tables were reserved then finally giving us a decent place to eat dinner after asking 4x. We weren’t the only couple confused as 3-4 other couples came in and sat at the sections attempted and requested to move. By the time we had our food and left. No one showed up to those “reserved tables”. I wish these businesses prioritized service over potential money. We were there and ready to spend money and the possibitly of a bigger party coming in and spending more money was more important that servicing people already at the establishment. Lying about tables being reserved didn’t seem to bring more money in. I’ve been here before but this was worst than before. During bhm at that. Definitely don’t feel my (his) dollars are appreciated when a comfortable table to eat was requested and refused 4x at a “restaurant”. Call it a club, lounge or bar and call it a day. It would be easier and expectations would be lowered. I would never expect or respect this treatment from an actual restaurant.

The Brew City hosted my company last night for our Black History Month event and everything was GREAT! The food, the music, the vibes, the waitstaff. I had so much fun and the djs were also so much fun. We had a pre-ordered buffet and my favorite was the wings and sliders. I didn’t get the chance to taste the other menu items so I will be back very soon because the menu items look amazing. Thank you Brew City for having us!

If you’re looking for a restaurant to sit down and eat, enjoy company and conversation, this is not the place. If you want a club atmosphere with great drinks and bar food, this is the spot! Also, they’re up in here so if you’re looking to meet someone new, this place has lots of people looking too! The food was slow coming out but with drink and, um, distractions, you’ll have a good time. The DJ played all of the jams from back in the day to current.
