This place has amazing service for takeout! I called in an order, but as it was my first time I was torn between 2 options (Tex -Mex or 2-Hander) and the guy on the phone gave a very definitive opinion on which to pick. He said they are both popular but the 2 Hander showcased the cheese steak, which is a specialty. It turned out to be fantastic and way too much food, but all for a really affordable price. It is 2 grilled cheese sandwiches with cheese steak filling. I thought it was going to be 1 big messy sandwich, but it is actually 2 full sandwiches wrapped separately. The sandwich was phenomenal and I have another for lunch. I also got a side of Mac and Cheese bites, which were really tasty, and not greasy like some other places. The only thing missing was like a specialty sauce, maybe they have a Jax sauce and I don’t know, maybe they have one. However, the food made for a perfect quick delicious dinner. They were also nice enough to bring my order out to my car in the pouring rain. Thank you Fat Jax’s for an awesome meal!

Came here with the wife and two kids. The Cheesesteaks (both Beef and Chicken) were served super hot and had good flavor. Large portions on the sandwich! Kids got Hotdogs, unfortunately no kids menu so had to pay full adult price with no sides but they were big dogs that filled them up.

We were greeted with a hello as soon as we walked in the door. We checked out the menu. We had heard some things about the place, but it was our first visit. The cashier was friendly, and paid attention to our order. We ordered the cheesesteak, white American cheese, wit onions and we also had an Italian Hoagie. The food came out and it was huge. The roll was over flowing with moist, piping hot, flavorful beef mixed with onions and blended with the perfect amount cheese. It was a monster to wrap my big mouth around, but the roll, I’m guessing Amoroso, held up to the task. Never got soggy and never fell apart. Th hoagie was stacked and layered with ham, pepper ham, salami, capicola, and provolone. Lettuce, tomato, onion, salt, pepper, oregano, finished with oil. The way an Italian Hoagie should be. I’m a Philly native and owned a top rated food truck in Orlando making cheesesteaks for 10 years. Believe me when I tell you, they do a great job here. The staff cares about the product. Go give’em a try. Nice work guys!

Had to try the cheese steak after it came highly recommended from another local business owner I met. I am pretty picky when it comes to cheese steaks and Fat Jax is now my go to place. Very few places offer the sweet peppers and that is my favorite topping. The meat was fresh, I got mine with extra white American cheese, onions, and mushrooms. It was pretty busy in there but they had plenty of seats, super clean, and everything that came out looked really good. Would be a good place to go try a few different things with some friends.

Just stopped by here for the first time and after reading all the reviews I have to say is it’s even better than the best reviews. Massive portions and they have now taken the crown as the best cheesesteak and Turkey blt sandwiches I’ve ever had outside of Philadelphia. And yes it’s even better than Delcos in Dunedin for those who know.

We found a Treasure! After reading reviews on Fat Ajax’s, especially the raves on their Cheesesteak subs, we had to give it a try! Having found it difficult to find cheesesteaks that matched what we had in Baltimore, we were in the area and stopped by, somewhat skeptically about 1:00 PM.
