Fat Eddys was a pleasurable experience for the most part. Our server was great. My boyfriends ribs were amazing, and my brother got the Mac with Burnt Ends which he loved. I had the Smokehouse club I believe it was called? It was very mediocre while being mostly dry pulled pork. The onion ring app was our favorite. My boyfriends broccoli was pretty much raw and completely unseasoned. And my biggest issue was when I realized my water glass has a flim of grime on it. The atmosphere was pretty industrial vibes to me, but we did enjoy the funny signs all around. It was also a pretty pricey place. Would we go back? Probably. But im not rushing.

I feel like I took WAY to long to write this, but hear me out, I am just going through memories. This place was AMAZING! We were staying at a nearby hotel, and ordered food for pickup since we had our dogs with us. We were VERY happy with our food! The staff was friendly, the place was super clean, the bathrooms were SUPER clean! And best of all the food! The food was exactly what we were hoping it was!

I have been to so many bbq restaurants in my past. This place caught my eye while shopping at grove city outlets today. I like to visit local restaurants that can be unique unlike chain restaurants. We ended up getting the 3 meat choice with two sides and then I had to try there seasoned fries. Wow is all I can say yum. The Brussel sprouts were actually the best part. So much flavor. The ribs were good, pulled chicken was good, the brisket was good. The mac and cheese was standard nothing bad just not wow. The fries were also well seasoned and good. Definitely will go again. Prices were average for a BBQ joint. They slow smoke at 225 degrees so lots of flavor.

We ordered nachos, which were delicious. The brisket on the nachos was incredible. For my entree I ordered the brisket and ribs platter. The ribs barely had any meat on them and the little meat on them was pretty tough. The brisket that came with the entree was sliced very thinly and was dry. I ended up just eating the mashed potatoes and the Brussels which were both very good.

We were staying at a nearby hotel this weekend (02/07/26) and decided to walk over and have an appetizer and some drinks.
So glad we decided to sit at the bar, we had the nicest, most personable bartender ever. Victoria was extra great and really great at her job. We enjoyed talking with her and she treated us so well. We would definatley stop here again when we are in Grove City again. The food and drinks were great as was the customer service!

We’ve been here several times but our last visit a few weeks ago was pretty bad. We were seated quickly and the server was nice however we waited for almost an hour for our food. Server apologized twice. I’m not sure what the problem was. I tried the combo plate with the burnt ends. They were awful. Huge plate but I ate maybe three pieces. It’s supposed to be brisket burnt ends caramelized in bbq sauce. What I got was little sqares of fatty pork meat with barbecue sauce poured over them. They were cold and I should have sent them back. Nothing carmalized or “burnt” about them, just inedible. Corn bread used to be good. This time cold and dry. The only edible part of my meal was the brussel sprouts.

I have been thinking for the longest time about grabbing a bite at Fat Eddy’s, I wish I hadn’t. I looked at the menu before I went inside, and it looked good. I wish the food tasted as good as it was described. For starters we had nachos. They were smothered in cheese sauce with chunks of brisket. They were tasty, cold. Unfortunately, this was the highlight of my meal. I ordered a combo platter. Pulled pork and brisket. With a double side of loaded fries. I was sharing. I specifically told the server that I wanted the fatty section of brisket and loaded fries. The fries came, cold, and drowning in cheese sauce. No protein. The pulled pork was OK, but again…not very warm. The fries had no protein or scallions as described in the menu. When I told the server about the fries. He said, I thought you didn’t want a protein. Again, I specifically asked for loaded fries. The brisket…tasted like spoiled meat. It was neither tasty nor from the fatty section. My husband ordered ribs and brisket. Both, inedible. The ribs still had the silver skin attached which made the ribs tough and difficult to cut.
Quite honestly, this was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. The server never even asked if something was wrong when he picked up my husband’s plate that was hardly touched. I told him the brisket tasted “off”. He said he would tell the kitchen. No manager and no one from the kitchen came to us. If it weren’t for the nachos, I’d give Fat Eddy’s 1 star.

As a regular of Fat Eddy’s I am very disappointed in them as of recently. They have changed a lot on their menu and I feel the quality of their food has majorly gone downhill. I ordered on Valentine’s day and ordered Brisket Quesadillas which have always come with BBQ sauce. We got NO BBQ sauce with our extremely dry brisket. I spent $60 on two brisket quesadillas, fries and fried pickles and none of the food was that good like it used to be. Fat Eddy’s before you end up losing all of your business, go back to how you used to be. Based on the other reviews, customers are noticing and are not happy. I am joining the group of unhappy customers who will not be coming back unless changes are made.

The smoked wings were literally the best wings I’ve ever had! My only regret is ordering 6 instead of 12.

This experience was honestly one of the worst I’ve had. While our actual server was great there was an individual who I assume was a manager who was more than incredibly rude. Me and my husband had encountered two separate occasions where we overheard this older woman speaking negatively and using inappropriate language to other staff one being the hostess. She seemed to be cursing about other staff members and it was a disgusting display. It made me and my husband genuinely uncomfortable and we felt bad for the servers. I used to enjoy coming here, me and my husband used to love the light hearted fun atmosphere. But this “manager” woman looked absolutely miserable and would walk around the resturant with a mean face on and would just lounge at the front host stand, doing absolutely nothing but complaining. The best part is they were not even busy, you think they would want an individual who brings light to their resturant not some miserable grinch. There were even occasions where she would sit at one of the tables near the host stand and just be on her phone. Very professional.
