We were just cruising down perdido key drive from ASR 182 and happened upon this food truck, I’m so glad we stopped. I got the pad Thai with chicken, my wife got the drunken noodles with chicken and shrimp and a coconut boba. We also got the crab Rangoon’s and dumplings. The portions size are huge, so you are getting a great deal for the price. The pad Thai was good, everything from the chicken to the noodles and sauce.

While ordering I thought it was slightly expensive, but then I saw the amount of food!This is how much was left after stuffing my face (pregnant). This is enough to feed a whole family, and it is delicious! The price is a killer deal! I dumped the leftovers onto a dinner plate for scale. Super excited to have a good Thai food place nearby (the others near here are terrible). Also super excited I can get Boba tea at the same place as pad Thai! Drove out of my way for this place and it did not disappoint. I got chicken pad thai, spring rolls, and Thai iced tea. The lady who served me was great and encouraged me to try each one of the candies! I’m from out of town and will miss this place dearly! Worth a stop!

I’m in town visiting my sister and I saw this place was super close to their house. They had awesome reviews so I was very excited to try it out. I want to preface with saying that I love Asian foods and I live in Houston Texas (which is a melting pot of people!).
This place was SO VERY GOOD. Prob some of the best Thai food I’ve had in awhile. Their menu isn’t extensive but everything was made fresh to order. It’s a lovely couple who run it and they are so thoughtful and accommodating.
You place the order and they bring it to your car. It is a food truck and I did notice some seating but I chose to bring it home. We paid about $53 for chicken pad Thai, chicken drunken noodles and vegetable stir fry. When they brought me the food, I was not expecting it to weigh 15lbs and almost dropped the bag! It was a little pricey but each entree is probably 2-3 people’s worth of food.
Also, the owner apologized for the wait and brought me a small thai tea for my patience and it was very good. A little bit on the sweet side for me, but it balances out the spiciness of the food.
I would definitely come back and I definitely recommend to fellow people who love Asian food

The food! So, so good. the taste is spot on dang good. Superior to other places serving Thai. we got the Curry chicken and shrimp. Perfect amount of tang. White meat chicken. All orders are cooked fresh so take about 7 min to get your order. While we waited they brought over a free order of wontons, fried perfectly with a delish dip, not your standard duck sauce. We are so pleased to have this gem nearby.

I’m very picky with my Thai food , been in Thailand many times. This is the closest to my favorite Thai restaurant I used to visit! We LOVED it. Flavors on point, portions are too generous! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My husband and I are big foodies and we eat, we eat fast and a lot. When I tell you the amount of the pad Thai can feed me 2-3 more times. We never have leftovers but we are soooo satisfied not hungry and happy we can eat more of it tomorrow!!
Also I didn’t like Boba in the past but the Boba tea here is wonderful, not too sweet (Lychee flavor) just perfect for me !!
Definitely will go here again and already recommended it to my friends.

This was the cutest food truck ever. What a lovely family. We love to support small businesses! Especially one with delicious food! The food was amazing, full of flavor and made from fresh real ingredients. Our family came during peak dinner rush on a Friday. There was a little wait but after tasting the food we would do it again and again! The son was so gracious, kind and had top tier customer service. Portion sizes are very generous. I came across Fat Dragon Thai food truck while driving to the store one Saturday 3 weeks ago, and decided to try it ( I love Thai food! And we moved to this area from DC 10 months ago). I’ve been ordering once a week since then! We tried nearly everything on the menu! It’s absolutely delicious, all the ingredients are fresh and the dishes are made to order! The owner Jittra is so nice and friendly and takes the time to recommend and explain the dishes if you are uncertain what to order, and aways has a big smile on. I use to only order out if I was too lazy to cook, now ordering out from Fat Dragon is a weekly tradition! P.S: the prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge.

I just had the best experience at this Thai food truck! I ordered the Thai fried rice with chicken, and wow, it was absolutely delicious! Plus, the portion was huge—definitely enough for two meals, and all for a really affordable price.
What makes this place even better is the amazing owners. They are the sweetest people and do so much for the community, including helping out homeless folks by providing food and drinks. That really speaks volumes about their kindness!
I’ll always be here to support them. Highly recommend checking them out!
