Right off the river trail, perfect snack for my fellow bikers/walkers. Chicken was super tender and the seasoning was amazing. Fried plantains was the cherry on top. Everything was high quality. Excited to try the rest of the menu.

Owners are super nice, was lucky to meet one while doing a research study. We talked about how local the ingredients are sourced when available. Glad to have this food truck in our community. I think everyone should try them.

Went to Perpah’s Reggae Kitchen,Let me just say this I was pleasantly surprised, being from the Caribbean I seek out any Caribbean cuisine in town. Everything was cooked exceptionally well and to more than perfection! I got the curry goat meal along with the jerk chicken meal and everything was to die for. The flavors and the way the meat was perfectly cooked was unmatched by any Jamaican cuisine around. The cabbage was perfect, not soggy and still had a bit of a crunch! And the rice? Was well cooked And the fried plantains, fried to perfection along with the taste! Authentic Caribbean food is served here. You won’t regret spending money with them! Amazing service, amazing food.

Hands down the best Jamaican food I have ever had and not just in Lansing I have been all over the country and I haven’t had anything this good. Their use of spices and seasonings are amazing The flavors are what Jamaican food should be not this watered down unseasoned stuff that I have had. Everything is good. The oxtails are amazing The chicken is out of this world The curry goat is one of my favorites and also the kingfish dish. Might go to when I want something nice and spicy with an island vibe.

Perpahs Reggae Kitchen is hands down one of the best food spots in Lansing! The flavors are authentic, fresh, and packed with that perfect island spice. Every dish tastes homemade with real care, from the perfectly seasoned jerk chicken to the tender oxtail and flavorful rice & peas. The portions are generous, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff treat you like family the moment you walk up. If you want real Jamaican comfort food that makes you feel like you’ve been transported straight to the islands, this is the place to be. Highly recommend to anyone who loves bold, delicious flavors..You won’t leave disappointed!

A trailer kitchen on the corner of Jolly and Aurelius.
I got the jerk n twerk chicken and chose the rice, cabbage and carrots, and it also came with fried plantains. Wow! It’s delicious, the chicken falls off the bone, nice and spicy. The cabbage has just the right amount of crunch left in it. Sauce over the rice. Plenty to eat. Plus you can sit under the shelter in Maguire Park to eat. I will be back.
