Fun atmosphere. I’ve had amazing food here before but both my boyfriend and I got food poisoning last time. Last time I asked for a medium well done steak and it was super bloody. The line is almost impossible to go back and ask for it to be cooked longer because it’s a cafeteria style line that’s always busy. It’s simple food but generally good. Garlic toast is good. Salad is basically just lettuce and the soup wasn’t seasoned. They only take cash or checks.

This place is a gem! Love the old decor everything from the model cars on display down to the trays that read Farmington Steak House. Love the older but clean look inside IDK how to explain it kinda it’s like a beautiful time capsule. Yes I occasionally enjoy a fancy $50 steak in a fancy restaurant, but this is very special in its own way. Please keep it the way it is and never remodel it for as long as possible. Tastes great especially for that price (paid roughly $22 for the meal shown). Friendly family owned and operated restaurant.

You get served up like- back in the day -school style at lunch, you grab a tray give your order and wait for them, and I was impressed with the steak, it was very good quality and very good tasting the chicken sandwich was probably my favorite chicken I’ve had in a long time and it was reasonably priced and a very good portion everything was great !! good amount of food for the money it was worth the 45-minute drive

I wanted to treat my wife to a steak for her birthday at Texas Roadhouse for lunch but found out after arrival that they don’t open until 3pm. BTW their website says they open at 11am!
I googled ‘steak restaurant near me’ and found Farmington Steak House 15mins away. Took the family there and it was surprisingly amazing for a small spot. The prices were very reasonable and we got more food than we could finish. We plan on going back next week.

Ordered the fried chicken. The meal was delivered to my table and the breast piece had been cut open and then refried. Horrible! It was brown and dry as a bone. I didn’t even touch that piece. 8 brought it into the counter and was not even offered a discount.

Located in a little strip mall of down town Farmington is a little gem of a place, Farmington Steak house. I’ve been coming to this restaurant off and on since I was young. There’s a nostalgia with coming here for me, it’s not the best steak you can get in the world but for the price you get a good meal from friendly folks who know their regulars and their lives. It’s very hometown feel, almost like a home cook meal; potato, toast, steak and a salad. Grab a tray, place your order by the time you pay the steak is done. It’s an enjoyable meal.
