Great fast food joint – we were fresh off a flight and needed to get food in our stomachs. Got the Special Hoagie, a gyro and some fries. The fries are the crinkle kind. The gyro was generously stuffed with meat and the hoagie was as well. The staff were also courteous and the food came out quickly. Well done!

Food is so hot and fresh! It’s high quality food with a great price tag and good portions. Their onion rings are the best I’ve had and I highly suggest the steak sub with provolone cheese … so delicious! The sandwich is big enough that if you can probably share or have enough leftovers for later. It cost around $13 for the sun and onion rings.

Been going to Ankar’s for about 12 years. Always great food, great service and priced right. Back down in the Chattanooga area today on little business trip and always great to stop by Ankar’s to relax and enjoy a good tasting lunch meal. My go-to for a quick and delicious lunch and friendly atmosphere when in Chattanooga. The hamburgers are awesome. Highly recommended.

This Was A waste of $8.18 Turkey Hoagie ! It was more bread than anything .! It was 2 slices of meat .! That I couldn’t taste .! I knew it was gone Be some BS when I looked on the menu and they was charging for extra lettuce tomato and pickles and things . Change the name to ankar Bread cause that’s what yall serve .! Subway is more hoagie this this place even Publix subs more hoagie then this place .! Very much disappointed more meat on your hoagies .!!!

Over 37 years ago, my husband took me on our first date to Ankar’s Hoagies. We have since married and moved away. It was wonderful revisiting a place that holds so many memories. The placed is just as good as we remembered. Food, service, and atmosphere is awesome. We hope it doesn’t take us another 37 years to revisit again. We love you Ankar’s Hoagies.
