I loved the decor and look of this restaurant. The interior is unique, bold and colorful.
The menu was varied with a wide variety of choices for appetizers, entrees and desserts.
We ordered empanadas and this cheesy corn dip – both were delicious. We also had tacos, enchiladas, and a beef bowl.
The food was very good and tasty though some of the beef was a bit fatty with some gristle.
The bathrooms were decorated nicely; however, they could have been cleaner with the toilet paper actually in a holder.
I’d definitely come back again because we really did enjoy the meal.

Super cute little place in a strip mall. We had a shrimp burrito, chicken wings, and a chicken quesadilla. Everything was fantastic! Highly recommend!

Adult Beverages were deeeeeelicious.
The music was very festive but extremely LOUD. With only a max of 3 groups of people at any one time for the 80 minutes we were there, we had to scream to hear each other. Recognized your audience and turn down the music, especially after we requested.

Had another amazing experience at Ay! Chavelaa last night! The food was just as incredible as the first time, maybe even better. Our server, was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and made the night even more enjoyable. We ordered all our favorites again: the untraditional guacamole (a must), beef empanadas, steak tacos, beef burrito, and yuca fries, everything was bursting with flavor. The margaritas were perfectly balanced, and we ended the meal with their caramel-filled churros… absolutely heavenly. Can’t wait to come back!
