Went here on a whim because it was such a cute and cozy place to go eat. Was not sure what to expect and I am so happy we ended up here. So adorable inside and out, the ladies working there are so sweet and kind, the chef made such delicious food !! I could come here and eat the cowboy hash bowl everyday ! It was so good. My partner had the chicken and waffles and he loved it. I will say that the chicken was not fried it was more like rotisserie but very well seasoned. The coffees are so fun and so good! I wish I had taken pictures of everything. We were just so hungry. I highly recommend this place. I can’t wait to come back.

Farmhouse Cafe is a cute, and Instagramable little place. And when I say little I mean little. The food is very delicious, but good luck getting a table in a timely manner on a Sunday. Especially since they do not take reservations…Which is annoying. I think accepting reservations would greatly help THEM out as well as their customers. They are a bit low in staff as well. BUT like I said their food is very good and I LOVE one of their matcha drinks but I can’t remember the name of it.

I love this little pocket of happiness in Bartonsville, PA. The coffee selection is creative and it’s really fun to try a new drink every time I come. Try the “Candle in the Wind.” As for the food, everything is delicious. But I would avoid the avocado toast if you’re an avocado toast aficionado like me – it’s just not up to par with everything else on the menu. The baked goods are top-notch, and I adore the three-layer rainbow cake. The ambiance and decor is sweet, and the owner and waitresses are very kind. Also love that when I dine here I am supporting a black woman run business. Overall, I recommend highly!

Great breakfasts! We got a lavender latte, espresso, BLT, and the “I love you a-waffle lot.” The lavender latte is purple and come with whipped cream. It is not super sweet, but herbal and nice. The eggs and bacon come on top of the waffle, which, is not my favorite way, but the waffle was still delicious with butter and syrup. The eggs have a really dark amber yolk, so probably organic or free range I would guess. Bacon was softer, but easy to cram into my mouth. The BLT bacon was crammed on the BLT too…so much bacon. The lettuce was spinach and the tomato..was a tomato. It was really fresh! It had ranch on it as well. It came with kettle chips and a small spinach salad. OH! And cute tae ware…and GOLD silverware! Will likely visit again when we get up that way!

I love the aesthetic of this place!! It was cute and the service was wonderful. I really liked my waffle and latte. I left a star off because it was very smokey due to poor ventilation. The kitchen is connected to dining room so that can make or break your dining experience if it is busy and they’re cooking a lot. If you don’t mind the smokiness, then definitely go!! ❤️

I ordered a Dutch chicken and waffle and it literally has no gravy and I was missing an extra order of two eggs. When I called and told them what I was missing they said they would make it again around 12pm-1pm because that’s when I would be able to pick it up. My boyfriend called back around that time to let them know we are picking it up and the lady on the phone is telling us the chef did add extra eggs and I’m literally looking at the food while we’re speaking and not seeing that at all PLUS where is the gravy on the waffle that comes with the order in the first place ???? The lady on the phone says she was busy at the moment and she would call back in 5 minutes.Definitely won’t recommend ordering out. This isn’t the first time this happened I’ve just been nice about it before. Btw if you are reading this comment it’s because the lady at the front never called back and resolved this situation.

I had the “living on a prayer” hot coffee, which was lavender with vanilla. I really liked it. I also had a waffle with fruit and cream on it which was yummy. The macaroons were good, too. It’s a very girly, aesthetic place, and the staff was friendly to my friend and I. They also do have a bathroom for customers. The cons of this location are the limited seating due to the size of the cafe. And sometimes, the smoke can sting your eyes when they are cooking a lot of things at once. If it wasn’t winter, I’m sure they’d open the door to let the smoke out. Thankfully, those weren’t too much of an issue for me. However, I can see those two things being an issue for other people so just keep that in mind upon going.
