If I was able to give no stars I would, If disappointment had a flavor, it would taste exactly like this meal. The chicken was so dry I needed a gallon of water just to survive the first bite. The plantains tasted like they were fried last week and reheated with pure laziness. I paid real money for this… I deserve financial compensation and an apology. I would’ve took a picture but I through it in the trash after the manager told me no refund.

Edit: I was up in Maryland recently and had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant again. While it is no longer self serve the food is still amazing and they pack that container full! Still 5 stars and still one of my favorite places to eat!
I have eaten here at least 1-2 times per month for the years 2018-2020. This place had great food and variety at an amazing price. It is/was self serve at that time. I moved 900 miles away at the end of 2020 and I still sing praises about this place. I was thinking about it just now and had to leave them this review as it seems a few bogus reviews are dragging their rating down. I look forward to eating there in the future when I visit Maryland once again. Thank you for the excellent food and service!

Literally the BEST. This place is my go to spot when I wanna eat out. It’s simple cheap but hella good. When I was pregnant all I wanted to do is eat their macaroni and cheese. Which is funny seeing as I’m lactose intolerant. The only problem I have with this place is that it’s not closer to my house. But I still make the 35 minute drive.
