Another 5 star gem. Delicious, authentic cuisine and the atmosphere is like stepping into another world. Vibrant and so tasty! Come and try it for yourself. And now I know what Turkish delight (the thing Edmund asks for in Chron. of Narnia) tastes like!

One of the best experiences ever. The food, the people, the building: all indescribable. They stayed open way past their closing time to accommodate our party, and were not only un-annoyed with us, they were delighted to have us. We tried so many different dishes and each one was the best thing that I have ever tasted. The mansaf dish was heavenly melted gold. The pita bread, hummus, akd rice were all so unbelievable perfect. Appetizer, entre, dessert, and drinks were all the absolute most decadent things on this Earth. The service was amazing; he told us his favorite dishes, how to eat them, the history of the food, and where it comes from. After we had eaten, he let us take a picture with him, and was so sweet about it. He gave his regards to all our relatives and shook our hands as we walked out. I reiterate, one of the best experiences ever, and a sin qua non of any stay in Colorado Springs.

This place is awesome! My wife and I just moved from Texas and wanted to try some authentic middle-eastern food. We were certainly not disappointed. The person who we assume to be the owner is very polite and personable and made sure we were taken care of. The food was superb! We ordered falafel for an appetizer and had gyros for lunch. Was very good. I was pleasantly surprised with how good the herbal tea was!

We LOVE it here!! AMAZING authentic food!! Every single time!! The staff and owner are top notch! Not only is the food stellar but they teach you about the culture, the reason certain foods are around, how it is eaten, the culture, family. It is a beautiful unexpected experience. The teas are exquisite and unique . I struggle with writing a review because I want to keep it to myself so we always have a seat but that wouldn’t be fair to Fala Filo. Come expecting an experience. This is not fast food, it is homemade and worth your time. We will likely see you there if you come!

Very authentic, very yummy, huge portions. I’m so happy we came in here. The owner is also the server and helps in the kitchen too. She took time to explain the authenticity of the dishes and the traditional way to eat them as well. Best middle eastern restaurant in town!! Support local!

We came in, and there were over 10 flies buzzing around. They joined us for the rest of our meal, which was neither generous in the amount for how expensive the total tab was, nor was the flavor varied from dish-to-dish.

We went there tonight for dinner and it was our first time having middle eastern food. It was delicious and so much of it! We ended up with plenty for lunch tomorrow. The service was amazing and he told us all about the various dishes and where they originated from. We will definitely be back and I recommend trying this place!

Lamb being the dish of Colorado Springs, this brought me to a mediterranean restaurant in an empty plaza with a high rating of 4.7. I’m not gonna lie, I was hesitant to enter as it was empty and looked kinda gloomy (thought about it for 5 min.). Once I entered the restaurant, there were a few tables filled but there was at max 10 tables since the location was quite small. There was a senior gentlemen that worked as the cashier, host, and server which is why my service was so slow. Lamb was on my mind which was the first dish on the Entree list. I thought “great, we’re at a the right spot for Lamb”. The server did acknowledge that the Lamb takes about 40 min to prepare and that was fine with me. I figured, hey, the food is freshly made and must be great. The server had upsold me on a “small” appetizer of Filafel which was actually not that small (and kinda pricey). I’m not a big fan of falafel but it was one of the better ones that I’ve had. The plate took nearly 40 minutes to come out after a long wait for the server to take my order. I figured, if it took this long, it must be great! The couple next to me was even raving about the food being great as always.
