Got the cowboy ribeye with chipolte whiskey butter. Was delicious and service was great. Alcohol not served here bit you can bring your own. Dog friendly if you are sitting outside.

Amazing Mother’s Day ❤️ dinner with family at a beautiful restaurant with amazing food. There was a special menu for Mother’s Day with a wide variety of choices. As we were seven people, we had one of each of the entrée choices. Our choices were: Rack of Lamb, Filet Migion, Seared Sea Bass, or Roast Duck, Each entrée was more amazing than the others. It is the perfect place to enjoy a family dining experience.

Such a great atmosphere whether you dine inside or out & that is the only reason I gave it an extra star. We have been here 4 or 5 times and always hope the food will get better, but it never does. The entrees seems to have gotten worse each time. The salmon was cold and actually completely raw on the inside. We order salmon often in restaurants so know how it supposed to be cooked. The side vegetables were cold as well and we heard another couple complain that their veggies were also cold. The stuffed mushroom app was actually pretty good & not cold. Seems the apps are the only thing ever decent in this place. Oh, I almost forgot, there was a good-size piece of hair in the bread basket, yuk!

My family and I had an amazing experience at the Fairview Cafe. The ambiance was so relaxing and it felt like we were truly in the country from the cozy cabin element the restaurant has to it. There is a large 4 sided beautiful fireplace in the dining room as well! The service was exceptional from the beginning to end. The food was delicious! The arugula salad was my favorite appetizer. You can’t go wrong ordering any pasta as your entree — they were all delicious, especially the Linguini Mediterranean. To top it off, my favorite dessert was the carrot cake. It was the best I’ve ever had! We will definitely visit again. Thank you to Donny for his hospitality.

What a disappointment..so looking forward to a nice meal. It took the waitress 20 min to come to our table. Another long delay before taking our orders. I was so looking forward to a nice juicy prime rib. What I received was a cheap cut of an overdone tasteless steak. Had a few bites and left behind. Wouldn’t even bring the rest home for our dogs! Last time our meal was substandard..thought we’d try again. Won’t be giving it another shot. What a waste of our $$. Chose another place

This restaurant was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! There was nothing bad. The bread was hot, the butter is mixed with cinnamon and honey, the asparagus was nice and crisp. The mashed potatoes was some of the best I’ve had. I had the duck with orange ginger glaze; and my husband got the special which was a 7 pepper coffee rub steak. (Which was HUGE!) Both melted in our mouths. The service was good and the atmosphere was relaxed and elegant. All at a VERY reasonable price. We will DEFINITELY come back the next we come to the area.

Went for a family dinner tonight and to say we were disappointed was an understatement. We had a reservation and our orders were not taken for over 1 hour. Another hour later our appetizers came out. The male employee we spoke to about the situation was extremely rude and hostile. Said there is nothing to be done. We received our check and it was handwritten with no breakdown. Overall very poor service and experience

I want to start off by saying, this was hands down the best gastronomic experience of my life (period). One day, my partner and I decided to go out and try this place. Neither one of us knew what to expect. I was awestruck with the interior of the restaurant. Very beautiful wood and a rustic fireplace great you with a warm welcome as you enter the dining space. We ordered a pear, berry, goat cheese and nut salad of some kind that was beyond anything I’ve ever tasted. Every bite was perfect. The size of the greens, the quantity of the berries, down to the thickness of the pear slice was such that every bite was shear heaven. Every berry was perfectly sweet. The dressing was exactly the right quantity. Our salad was not “swimming” in dressing, nor scantily clad waiting to be seen naked. In addition, it was only right that such a taste look as it did. The salad was plated beautifully. With intention in every detail. It was plated so that each bite contains all of the ingredients to ensure maximum flavor. A lovely start to the rest of the meal. Let me not forget to mention the bread, with whipped butter, honey, and cinnamon infused. I have never tasted such excellence. This brings us to the next course, the stuffed salmon entree I ordered. Delicate and tender, moist and savory. Each bite was a new experience. The flavor never became boring on my pállate. Every bite was better than the last. It was served with a side of rice and asparagus. The asparagus was a beautiful contrast of flavor and texture to the salmon. Crunchy, bitter, and light. The rice was unlike any I’ve had before. Tender like a risotto, however not at all mushy. It could stand alone as it’s own experience. It must have been cooked with drippings from a slowly roasted chicken, as the flavor was so deep and rich. It paired so well with the salmon. Finally, it was time for dessert. They had something special for us. A key lime pie. We ordered this with coffee. The key lime pie was tart and crisp upon first tasting it, and quickly transformed to a smooth, creamy flavor, finishing off with the sweet caramel drizzle and flakey crust. The coffee was beautifully earthy and bitter to cut through the plethora of unique flavor experiences happening from the key lime pie, so that each bite could begin anew. As I said, this was the most amazing eating experience I’ve ever had. So if you’ve made it this far in the review, thank you for your attention. I really felt I needed to highlight how significant and important each moment of this meal was for me. At this point, all there is left to say is thank you to the chef who made this possible. Thank you to the server. And if you are still reading this and are not on your way there now, what are you waiting for? Go live in bliss. You deserve it.

Here’s the thing. If you’re not in the main room, don’t go. The atmosphere is totally different. We got served last as well. Groups came in after us and went into the main room. We got our food last. They gave us a small discount for an apology. It wasn’t enough. DON’T GO IF YOU’RE SEATED IN THE SIDE ROOM!!!

We found Fairview during a trip home from Connecticut and it was a highlight of the weekend. Great food and service, be warned it is a BYOB, but the atmosphere doesn’t suffer from it. Nice break, after a long weekend.
