Yesterday I stopped by Charley’s Cheesesteaks on W Pensacola St. I was under the impression that this was just another chain restaurant, but I was happy to hear that this location is locally owned and operated. Of course, I had to support.
My order was a Strawberry Lemonade, Ultimate Fries with Cajun seasoning, and a Bacon 3 Cheesesteak.
First, thank you to the cashier who recommended the sandwich. He steered me in the right direction for sure!! I enjoyed this meal so much, and I’ll definitely be back!!
The most outstanding observation about Charley’s is how CLEAN everything is. The establishment is kept in great shape, for sure. Even the food tasted clean, which is a big indication of quality. Everything was nicely balanced flavor-wise, and I didn’t feel guilty after I finished my meal.
I cannot wait to go back and try out their wings and peach lemonade!! If you’re looking for something affordable, clean, and low-key I definitely recommend stopping by and supporting locally owned Charley’s Cheesesteaks on Pensacola St.

Got two cheesesteak combo meals a Philly Steak & Chicken Philly with Reg & Cajun fries we mixed the fries plus two peach lemonades. Everything was delicious. Had extra food to take home got large meals. Would recommend.

I had an amazing experience. The environment was clean, welcoming, and well maintained. The shift lead on duty was incredibly kind and helpful while assisting with my order. The food was fresh and cooked nearly to perfection. The food also came out quickly. I really appreciated being checked on periodically to ensure everything was okay throughout my time there. Overall, the entire experience was seamless, tasty, and I would definitely return.

Tried it a few days ago, and I can still remember the flavor! The store itself is a small little hole near the Aldi’s, so easy to miss if you aren’t looking for it. I only got something quick and easy when I visited: A small cheesesteak. But even after a walk home, it was still tasty as hell and 100% worth the trip. There’s something that’s wholly satisfying about the melted cheese and savory meat that made me immediately fall in love with the food here. Whenever I can, I’m definitely coming back for a full meal! Solid recommendation if you’re craving good beef, but they’ve also got chicken and even turkey if you’re looking for it!

Mine was a take out order and I ordered the traditional wings with two flavors, Buffalo and Cajun dry rub, extra crispy. They were larger than all the restaurants serve now, the food was hot, crispy, the flavors were right on and ready in six minutes. Hopefully not a one time thing but that was the best wings I’ve had anywhere in Tallahassee by far. Absolutely will be trying them again. The restaurant was easy in and out and clean and spacious inside.

My brother and I visited Charleys Philly Steaks last week at 2020 W Pensacola Street in Tallahassee, Florida. As it was our first time there, we opted to try a few items to get a sense of the food. We ordered the Chicken Teriyaki and Cheese Fries, both of which were fresh and delicious. The portion sizes were generous, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality. Additionally, we were treated to a complimentary Strawberry Lemonade, courtesy of the gracious owners, which was absolutely fantastic with its fresh strawberry pulp. We highly recommend this establishment. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

I have been here several times. The Philly cheese steak is fantastic, always fresh and delicious. I’ll give it a 5 starts, especially for the food at late night. They also provide lemonade. Lemonade is good and fresh.
