My best friend and I decided to try out this restaurant because it was highly rated by the go-to Greensboro Instagram page.. upon answering the restaurant we were greeted. We asked if we could sit outside on the patio area. The bartender brought us our menu and I asked if they had any cocktails available outside of the wine list. Bartender informed us that they didn’t have a cocktail list but that she can make drinks and if anything Google could help her.. Now I’m very particular about my drinks and my food. Personally, I would have probably kept that Google part of the information to myself….. So I kept it super basic and ordered a bloody Mary. They only had one type of rum available for the pineapple rum that my best friend ordered. Price points were really good considering that mussels tend to be a little more expensive in other places. I ordered the mussels in the white wine sauce with mushroom and bacon. Our Server informed me that baguettes were unavailable. So I chose the fries. Now, Presentation is everything to me and I’m not sure why anybody would pour the fries on top of the mussels. My fries were soaking in the wine sauce. It was a visually disturbing presentation. In my opinion. The food was good. The fries on the other hand I wasn’t a fan girling. The atmosphere is definitely very nice. The patio is very nice. Service overall I feel was very subpar as well as the food presentation. The waitress/ bartender was sweet but not knowledgeable in drinks. This is definitely a one and done type of deal for me at this place. I had somebody who respects my opinion. Ask me yesterday if they would come here and I basically told them I would choose somewhere else first.

One of my favs in greensboro. The outdoor dining experience is fantastic. We went in the evening in gorgeous spring weather. The fountain was running and it was just spectacular.

I had some time to explore downtown Greensboro, and decided to drop in due to their lovely outdoor eating area. I had the gyro with Greek pasta salad. Food was good for the price. The service was really great! The setting is really nice. All in all a very pleasant dining experience.

This was a party of 9 and it wasn’t really a busy night. The bar wasn’t packed and there were more than 10 tables empty upon arrival. I waited an additional 40 minutes for my drink and could not toast with everyone else. The appetizers arrived 20 minutes later and it was another hour or so before the entrees for everyone came out. The crab dip was flaky and crumbly and not creamy as I remember it being the last time I dined at this location. I also order the Ensalada De Mar with medium rare Tuna added and the Tuna was well done and dry.

This used to be my favorite place in Greensboro, however their staff and hours for Sunday brunch have become so unpredictable that I am forced to go elsewhere. The owner seems to not care much, as you cannot find current reliable hours of operation online. They don’t care to tell people when they’re open, so I’m not wasting my time going there anymore. So, so SAD.

First visit to Europa Cafe this weekend! I really enjoyed it and will definitely be back and bring friends there. They have the cutest little outside patio right next to Lebauer Park, so the location is prime! They have a nice fountain in the middle of the patio too. The server said they’re known for their mussels, but I had their French Dip sandwich and a glass of white wine. My food was good, I liked everything I had! The servers were really kind and complementary, and prices were reasonable as well.

The server was OK… I’ve been to this location many many times! And, I ordered the usual – medium rare Tuna on a Greek Salad with Extra Feta. There was no extra feta on my salad and the Tuna was soooo overcooked that I had then take it off. I also ordered the crab dip and it was more like crab crumble – it was not creamy at all! I was upset and shocked that the quality of the food has gone down severely. They need to do much better! It also took over 50 minutes to bring the food out and they were not really busy. I also received my drink and water 30 minutes after everyone else… just not the experience I was looking forward too.

4+ stars. First the location is fantastic adjacent to a lovely central park. On a warm sunny day, it is all too nice to sit, relax, and have a drink or two. The staff is friendly. And lastly the food was good. We ordered hamburger and fries. Done to as we requested and tastes yummy. The grilled chicken sandwich was great. The salad had good mixed greens and not overly dressed. We will come back.
