I ordered pick up, but when I went inside to get it the place gave dive bar vibes. (Which I love, but wasn’t expecting) food is delicious and I definitely recommend if you’re looking for some good eats 🙂

One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. We stopped at Esther’s Son’s Kitchen in Geneva, NY after a long hike, starving and hoping for a good meal. The place was completely empty, we were the only customers, yet the bartender/waiter was completely inattentive. We had to get up multiple times just to ask for plates, napkins, and utensils.
The appetizers were bad enough, coffee made with sour milk, empanadas fried in rancid oil, wilted old salad. We were actually about to just pay for the appetizers and leave… but to our horror, they started bringing out our meals. We figured maybe it would turn around. Big mistake.
Nobody at our table could eat their food. The chicken empanada was disgusting inside and the pork pernil was the worst I’ve ever tasted, dry, flavorless and tasted like it had been sitting around for a week.
We left still starving and beyond disappointed. It was an absolute low point in what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation. Do yourself a favor go anywhere else!!!

we are here for our Valentine’s lunch having beef tenderloin and red snapper and it is the best meal we’ve had in forever. It’s Yum Yum. Yummy. We love it.

Owner Rafael Diaz has a long history in the local food scene offering Puerto Rican and broader Latin cuisine. He often caters events for Hobart & William Smith and hosts our students at his restaurants. His pastelón makes for a hearty breakfast and lunch.
