Came here with my mother and this was easily the best meal we had in South Beach all week! The margaritas and Cuban coffee were perfect and the guava juice was a great N/A option. All of the food was delicious; chicken empanadas, avocado salad with blackened shrimp, whole red snapper, and tres leches to share. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and was a very cozy corner spot to sit in the sun. I wish we weren’t leaving tomorrow otherwise we definitely would be back!

Great experience here with my server Scarleth. I didnt even look at the menu and told me to order me her favorite. I also had a plain virgin mojito. The food was good, the atmosphere was awesome, and the service was top notch.

A very comfortable restaurant, wonderful atmosphere, very pretty lights and decor. Fabulous staff, very attentive and friendly. The highlight is the food. I had a Cuban sandwich, which was the best I ever had. It was garnished with potato sticks, which was a nice treat. I also had a medium size mojito, which was incredible. The mojito was garnished with a slice of sugar cane, which I loved. I will definitely return to this gem.

My family were in Miami over the weekend and decided to try Cuban food for the first time, there’s too many options but our hotel was near this restaurant and decided to give it a try. And i am so glad we did because the food was amazing! Our server, Scarleth was also very attentive and made sure we got everything we needed. We ordered the calamari and empanadas in chicken and beef with cilantro aioli, seafood linguine and the paella, of course we also had to try the flan for dessert!! Everything was great and will definitely come back to this restaurant every time we visit Miami.

Both the breakfast and lunch were excellent. I had the Cuban breakfast (I think that’s what it was called) for breakfast and the steak for lunch. My wife had the Cuban sandwich which was better than ones I’ve had at other places.

Wonderful place! I would eat here again and again! I ordered the octopus which can be difficult since usually it is frozen and thawed and the texture can become squish or slimy and icky. It was great! The sauce it came with was wonderful too. They did charge $10 for sparkling water but I should have known that before ordering. We shared the plantains and they were SO GOOD! They could be a dessert item served with caramel and ice cream. My friend had the tacos and she said they were amazing. We also got the guacamole appetizer with plantain chips and it was SO fresh and flavorful we LOVED it! We are eating here again after having terrible food next door at La Vantana the following day. No comparison between the 2.

We’re visiting Miami and wanted to try Cuban food..Esquina Cubana didn’t disappoint. My husband ordered the special combo the croquettes , fried yuca and those empanadas soooo good. I ordered the fried snapper, the snapper was seasoned just right and the rice was yummy. Our server Cristian was great , very attentive. All I can saw is chef’ s kiss…10/10.

Food was absolutely delicious! We got the empanadas (both chicken and beef) and octopus for apps and then the traditional ropa vieja and roasted half chicken. Just amazing! Everything was so tasty. Christian was the best! So attentive and filled with the best energy!
