I stop by the shop today to try out the corn beef. The owner seemed very friendly. Unfortunately I didn’t get to talk to him because he was in a discussion with another customer. The menu display is not very clear and I wish somebody would have taken some time to explain everything on offer. I probably would have spent more money trying different things. However, I ended up getting a corn beef sandwich with coleslaw and mustard, and it was ready pretty quickly after I ordered. The sandwich is good the corn beef is excellent, very tender, and falls apart. The price point is pretty high for what you get. If I was to go back, I probably would just order the corn beef and make the sandwich on my own. The coleslaw is OK. It’s nothing special and the sandwich put together is nothing special. I would definitely go back for brisket, corn beef pastrami however, I would skip any of the additions. Try it out, support North Haledon small business!

I recently had the pleasure of trying one of the most mouthwatering Smoked BBQ BRISKET sandwiches . The quality of the ingredients is evident from the first bite to the last. The bread was perfectly fresh, holding together the generous and tender slices of Smoked BBQ BRISKET, complemented beautifully by the crisp red onions and a tangy sauce that tied everything together.
The portion size was impressive, and the flavors were just spot on—rich, savory, and satisfying. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into the preparation of their sandwiches. This is definitely a place I’ll be returning to frequently!

This is a to go place, with one or two tables. My pastrami and Swiss sandwich ordered large was a jaw stretcher, and the potato pancakes were nice and crispy. Definitely going back.

My husband and I stopped in after stopping by an event in the area. We are so glad we did! The service of the employees was so kind. My husband got a pastrami sandwich, and I got a turkey sandwich. They were both delicious. We also got knishes that were very good. If you’re in the area, please check this place out. Definitely plan to return.

Mike makes the best pastrami sandwich around! I grew up in the Bronx and I’ve been eating pastrami for over 50 years. I’ve been to all of the famous delis in NYC and NJ past and present. Erving’s Brisket Deli is the best hands down. Don’t take my word for it – go and see for yourself!

After visiting the great falls in Paterson, I decided to have lunch here after hearing about it from a friend. Food is amazing! Definitely recommend the pastrami and season fries! Owners Mike and Juanita made me feel very welcomed. Worth the 30min drive. I’ll be back to try the brisket. I over heard some customers raving about it

I really love the potato salad and the bread pudding! Mike and Juanita are very friendly. I’ll continue to be a loyal customer! The tuna salad sandwich and the potato pancakes are so delicious! If you’re in the mood for something sweet, I recommend the bread pudding, cheesecake, and the carrot cake! The potato pancakes come with sour cream and apple sauce! I stop by Erving’s deli at least once a week. The owner, Mike, is a great friendly guy! If you’re driving through or to North Haledon, please stop buy Erving’s Brisket Deli!
