We got a take-away pizza and salad from here while passing through town. Both were top tier! Pizza had the classic wood-fired oven char, and the toppings and flavor were as good as it gets! I’d count myself (for whatever that is worth haha) into the pizza connoisseur bucket, and I’m telling you, this pizza is about as good as you’ll find. The house salad also was the right blend of greens and other veggies, with a tasty house dressing.

My husband and I are visiting from out of town and this place was close to where we are staying. The decor inside is really cool and has an awesome vibe. We didn’t have a reservation but were able to get seated in around 20min. I had the bacon cheese burger and holy moly it was amazing. Probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I added the house made mustard and it was so delicious. Also the sweet potato fries were on point. My husband got the buffalo chicken pizza, they have wood fire pizza and it also was delicious. Our waiter was attentive and super sweet. Overall it was a great vibe, friendly staff, and exquisite food. We even talked about coming here again during our short stay in Eureka.

We had the 2 bacon and spinach pizza and the bacon ham grilled cheese. Piccadilly crust was soggy in the middle. Mediocre overall. The grilled cheese was pretty good, but the Star was the beer battered fries.

When we were visiting Eureka, California, The Diver was probably our favorite place we ate! It had the grandeur of being a fancy restaurant, but paired with some funky art (that we loved) and a casual atmosphere. (TL;DR- it felt nice but we didn’t feel out of place in our shorts and tee shirts)
My fiancé got a spicy burger and I got pasta with so much goodness in it??? It was a special that day, and it came with shrimp, scallops, and chicken, as well as SO many fresh tasting vegetables! (Although I did pick the carrots out like a four year old because cooked carrots are yucky ) The noodles were thick, which gave them a handmade vibe, and the sauce was perfectly light and complementary to the toppings without stealing their thunder. All in all, it was a DELICIOUS plate of pasta!
Our server was very polite and attentive! He had quite a few tables but still made sure our drinks were full and our needs were met!

Delicious! I had the grilled cheese with bacon jam and it was incredible. You may have a bit of a wait for food, but it was absolutely worth it. The Ahi burger was perfection.

Anyone who’s ever gone to an excellent restaurant knows that it is required to make reservations well in advance. Expecting a very busy restaurant to answer the phone at all times is completely ridiculous because the restaurant is a fluid entity and you need to go with what decisions best serve who are already sitting in the restaurant. I find the Diver to always have excellent service and excellent food. I eat there at least twice per week and the service is always reliable and pleasant, as well as an inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend this to those who are into town whether a local or just visiting.

Ordered a bacon cheese burger medium well done. Seasoning tasted great, buns were super good, flavor was outstanding. The hamburger itself was super cooked to be more than well done, no pink at all. We also had the Thai Missy pizza. The flavors were good but the pizza was cooked to death resulting in a crust that was super hard and difficult to chew. Suggest the cooks should visit Zola’s in Brookings Oregon for a good comparison how pizzas cooked in a wood fire pizza oven should be cooked. It must have been an off day for the cook since most of the people say awesome things about this place. Other than the food, the atmosphere was really cool with cool paintings on the wall and the art in the bathroom was super cool! The staff was polite and helpful.

Stopped by on a whim and so glad I did! Loved the vibe and the food was so good. I had the gorgy mushroom pizza (in pic) loved the crispy crust and the salty Gorgonzola. My husband had the mushroom burger with sweet potato fries, 10/10. Definitely a place worth many returns.

Popped in for pinch while headed through town. I’m so glad I did. The food was quite tasty. The staff was amazing. And the ambiance was wonderful. I had the in-house smoked turkey sandwich sans the bacon and the daily soup, a chicken and rice. I loved it all.
