An overall very nice experience. The food tastes very nice, the staff is quiet yet friendly and timely. The atmosphere is very relaxed, a nice home cooked Mexican meal ready to be served vibe that brings me comfort when I arrive. Very underrated spot for Mexican food.

We were going to Cuquitas, but it eas closed, made a quick Google search and found Ernesto…did have high expectations, but it didn’t disappoint. The server was great, greeted us right away, broght me nice hot coffee & took care of my somewhat demanding older companion with a smile. The suggestion of the Puntas Monterey was great!! The guacamole was delicious and fresh and the flan was on point!

This is our 2nd time trying this spot. Dinner was delicious, the portions were more than enough, and the prices are reasonable. The staff at Ernesto’s was very welcoming, courteous and polite. I loved that

Menu has traditional choices including enchiladas, fajitas, and tacos.
The soft cheese tacos with queso and rice and beans combination was delicious.
The soft tortillas corn and flour were steaming hot .
The chips and salsa were a perfect starter.
The atmosphere is open and the service was top notch.Ask for Rudy as your server extraordinaire.
A great neighborhood restaurant.
The bar was well stocked too.

I have been a fan of this restaurant for many years. The Margaritas are excellent. I absolutely love the tortilla soup and my go-to favorite dish is Puntas Monterey. The guacamole is always fresh and the seasoning in their food is perfect. Also, I would like to mention that the service and staff are always friendly.

After reading the reviews, I saw a few negative ones but decided to take my chances considering how many positive reviews there also were! So glad we stopped by, I got a chicken taco salad, and boy did it hit the spot! Their queso was also really good! The servers were very attentive, clean and friendly. Definitely will be back again.

The Tacos Mexicanos are absolutely amazing 5 stars for sure. The staff was super friendly and brought out a green spicy salsa that was also to die for. Highly recommend this spot!
