It is a great dining experience and amazing food for a fun night out to a business dinner with clients. Try the Elk Chop…amazing and not the taste of “wild meat” // “gamey.”

Always a great atmosphere. Clean as a whistle and prompt service. On my most recent visit, the appetizers and desert were perfect. (Crawfish bisque and peach cobbler). My main course was a 16 oz buffalo ribeye. Excellent cut of meat. Cooked to a perfect temp. However, it was a little bland. In hindsight I wish I would have ordered the elk or the red fish.

Food was incredible I had buffalo tenderloin and lobster. Plenty of lobster large pieces and juicy tenderloin cooked perfectly. Chocolate souffle was the perfect ending to an amazing meal. I will definitely be back.

Top notch staff. I suggested it to a CEO/ friend from high school who i hadnt seen for years in town to check on his franchises as someplace MEMPHIS SPECIAL as was his request. EJ filled that description. Drinks were impeccable. The staff is some of the best in the city. Full of information, advice. Like, you are an honored guest in my home, level. We had a lot of food. He ate like there was no tomorrow until the Bleu cheese mashed potatoes and he realized he didn’t like BC. Lol. I thought they were divine. Crabcakes, yummy. Would have liked some green win the watermelon. Elk!!!! Even better the next day. My lamb tasted underseasoned, and I would possibly go medium well instead of medium next time, so that was disappointing, but I still ate it all by the next day. And I don’t remember if it was carrot or sweet potatoes mash/souffle with the lamb, but it was so good. Great experience, excellent for a special night.

My husband and I had a reservation (we’re from out of town) for our anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! From the ambience and complimentary valet parking, to the food & our wonderful servers, and the sweet & thoughtful celebratory message with dessert; our dinner was amazing. The intimate nature of the dining experience at this venue, including other patrons in the dining area we were seated in, made everyone’s occasion even more special—complete strangers take the time to acknowledge everyone’s experience as important (e.g., two tables were there to celebrate birthdays and received well wishes from other tables/individuals dining separately). This is such an amazing all-around experience from beginning to end. Thank you everyone!

Second visit, better than first. Wonderful service. Had the Sunday Night Special for $40 and three courses. My husband and I each selected the romaine salad with pistachios and the redfish entree with crawfish etoufee. The salad was lovely and the fish was good, not great. I should know better as I do not like tomato based sauces with fish. For dessert, we had apricot walnut bread pudding with caramel ice cream and a caramel creme. Both were good, with a slight edge to the bread pudding. A worthy value dinner. Since it was my husband’s birthday, he ordered foie gras and crab cakes. I hate the former but the latter was excellent and a generous portion. An amuse bouche of duck confit started the evening off right.

This is one of our finest restaurants in Memphis, and the Mid-South I dare say. Erling has been a mainstay in Memphis for about 30 years now. He’s one of our finest chefs and no meal has ever disappointed. I spent 14 days in France, ate at Paul Bocuse in Lyon, supposedly one of the top 10 restaurants on the planet. I’ve had better dishes at Erling’s place.

Second time here and the food and service never disappoints. Big shout out to our waiter, Kristen (not sure if I spelled her name correctly), she provided us the best service that I will never forget. Also, thank you Chef Erling for always providing each and every one of your customer the best food and frankly the best I have ever tasted. I hope your restaurant (and you) will forever be here in Memphis, please do not go anywhere!
