Showed up a few minutes early. We got seated within minutes. The staff was hard working, professional and pleasant. Drinks were great! The meal was exceptional, but I can’t seem to understand why wagyu ribeye is so much more expensive. I honestly didn’t notice any distinctive difference. Would love to go again. Nice atmosphere… very basic in appearance

Erling is Memphis’ celebrity chef. Always willing to come out and make an appearance for your special occasion. No other restaurant or chef comes close in Memphis. Food is always outstanding. Never had a bad meal, ever. Always gives back to our community. Hopefully, the good lord will continue to bless him with good health.

Erling Jensen is one of the best restaurants I’ve had the pleasure to enjoy, and I’ve done quite a bit of traveling. It’s an experience complete with creative dishes that inspire your own creativity and the best service in town. I highly recommend the tasting menu if you can get it. My husband and I got married at brunch, and after a quick rest, our first married stop and treat for ourselves was Erling Jensen’s tasting menu and wine pairing. You will spend a pretty penny but it’s worth every bit and more. Memphis is lucky to have Erling.

It is awesome to have a restaurant such as this in West Tennessee. Beautiful food that has so more layers of flavor than I knew was possible. The wine pairing to the chef’s tasting was spot on. Each dish was incredible. The service by Dasia could not have been better. Definitely recommend giving this small gem a try!

Sit at the bar. Order the soup no matter what. Have Carl make you an old fashioned with molasses that’s not on the menu. Every dessert slaps. 5/5 flame emojis

This is a wonderful place to dine for any or no special occasion. It’s an example of what fine dining used to be. We’ve eaten here many times and we’ve always been pleased with every aspect of the restaurant. We’ve tried other places, but we think this is the best restaurant in Memphis.

Absolutely wonderful. When I tell you I don’t like carrots but his carrots so flavorful , the texture was out of this world, and cooked to perfection I mean it.

That’s just the carrots.
That is the level of detail, love, passion, and care that goes into every bite. They were conscious of any dirty requests or restrictions. Really the best the Mid South has to offer

Sunday is Special is phenomenal. You get the chefs menu, a 3 course meal, for less than you would pay for any regular items . I love how they are making fine dining more accessible and not compromising quality.

If there was one thing I would say that would take it up even on tier higher, and it has nothing to do with the food, it would be to elevate the interior decorations. Nicer artwork, not just standard prints, and maybe some nice soft music and it would take this place next level. I highly recommend it

Hidden gem! Unbelievable experience, fabulous staff, rich meals. Menu changes seasonally. Veal and lamb were perfectly cooked. Mr. Jensen came over to say hello. Valet parking available.

Just an okay experience. The atmosphere is great and the location is in a good spot for parking but they also offer valet. The service was okay, he wasn’t very friendly and just seemed to be hasty. The escargot was cooked well but really needed more bread and more butter in the murky broth. Maybe this is more authentic prep, but I’ve had it many times and it wasn’t my favorite. The scallops were large but overcooked. My husband said his was just okay. Overall not that impressed and not sure I’d go back.
