I’m obsessed with their cranberry curry chicken salad! They are straight to the point, quick, fresh ingredients, and you get what you pay for. I’m a salad lover and prefer to make them a home because nothing comes close to the gourmet stuff I make, but I buy from EBC a few times a month when I get a craving for that amazing salad of theirs.

This is a 6 year later update to a review I made on this place. I’ve been eating the same sandwich for several years here. Going to miss Nick and Elise but I can say that the place is in excellent hands and nothing has changed. Same quality and care in everything they make. Everything tastes exactly the same.

Out of town visitor here. The location was difficult to find, but I ended up making it in (beware of the steep drive through). The service was straight forward, there’s no seating, and the time for order can range from 15 minutes-1.5 hours, according to the cashier. I ordered a salad and although the croutons were excellent, the chicken was underwhelming. The cookies which is one of my favorites lacked flavors and was a bit oily tasting. I would be willing to try out different items at this restaurant in future. Update to follow.

Ordered 3 sandwiches, all three had burnt bread and it took away a lot from the flavor. Bread was so burnt it was painful to chew. Any other time I had visited this place it was great. Would have rather waited for properly made food than what I was given. Should have known when I walked in cause it smelled like burnt bread.

I have only one food place that excites me when I return to Monroe. I recommend that you check out their specials which are posted daily on Facebook. Their sandwiches are imaginative and soups dependable. The breads are nice too.
They keep a pretty short line at the counter. I recommend avoiding a wait by ordering ahead. They only do carryout.

Sat right in the middle of down town Monroe, this little spot will let you taste some bread like never before. My work ordered the entire menu and these folks know how to bake. Whether that be a loaf of bread, or pizza. You’re sure to find something amazing here. 10/10 instead of 5/5

BEST RUEBEN EVER!!!! The cheese bread was pretty good too. I want to buy a bottle of the peppercorn. Everything was so good. The staff was extremely nice too. I would add photos but I devoured it. It was so good. The only thing I would change is that they were open later.
